WD Caviar SE WD3200JDRTL 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 1.5Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive

Pros: Drive is fairly quiet as I can't hear it over my case fans (which are a touch on the loud side). Works well with no problems in 3 months of constant use including transferring 20GB on and off it as fast as it can go. It was exactly as described and fit my plug and go needs for it.

Cons: Haven't run into any Cons so far.

Other Thoughts: WD generally makes solid hard drives and this one seems to be no exception.

Pros: You get exactly what you pay for. The sound on the hard drive is very quiet sitting right next to your but if its in another area, no sound whatsoever.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend.

Pros: Very Easy To Install, Especially If Its A Secondary (Extra) Drive, Unless Your PC Is Right Next To You, You'll Never Hear It....

Cons: Wasn't Able To Use The Cable That Came With It, I Recommend Getting a SATA Cable From New Egg, Which They Suggest Now When You Add The Item To Your Cart.

Other Thoughts: I've Had 6PC's In My Lifetime, 4 Of Which Burnt Out On Me, But All In All I Can Say That Out Of Everything That Burnt Out My WD Drive Always Worked, It Never Burnt Out, WD Is A Very Reliable Hard Drive. I Use My PC's And Hard Drives For Audio Recording, Editing, Composing, And Even Video Editing, Great HD.

Pros: Drive is cheap and functional.

Cons: Drive is about as noisy as most hard drives.

Pros: cant beat the price for 320 gig drive, plus its quieter than the seagate barracuda that came on my computer, you can still hear it writing but no where near as annoying as the seagate.

Cons: not "whisper" quiet but good enough
