Pros: Works great. Replaced in Acer laptop less than 2 years old. For a 50.00 HD it's a great buy.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Laptop HD's as a rule don't have a long life and a decent one for this price is a good buy. If you never replaced one be careful installing because most laptop cases are thin plastic and can crack or break easily.

Pros: Installed quickly with no errors at all. Great HDD.
Cons: Nothing at all. so far....
Other Thoughts: I needed this because my mother in law was given a sony viao with a "Disk read error". So I knew what the issue was and bought this for her and had it up and running in 10 minutes. Great setup, great packaging. Great Newegg service.
