Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: Whisper quiet except when seeking. Doesn't get burning hot if properly cooled.

Cons: None that I've encountered.

Other Thoughts: I use many of these drives now (three 200GB, and one 250GB), and they all do exactly what they're supposed to do. HP uses these exact drives in many of their models.

Pros: Easy to install, just downloaded DiscWizard from seagate.com and ran it, worked fine. No problems with overheating (it's a slave, and I don't run the rig for very long periods of time). Fairly quiet for it's size and speed. I'm impressed!

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: OEM - you get the HDD, nothing more. Just a word of warning for those who need a set of instructions - they aren't included.
