Pros: Unbelievably quiet hard disk. It made my older 120 GB Wxxxern Dxxxtal Caviar sound like a jet engine.

Cons: The hard drive died approximately 1 month after use. Clicks of death, followed by a SMART bad status while booting up.

Other Thoughts: Was a great hard disk up until Disk failure.

Pros: Drive was fairly inexpensive, nice amount of storage. Nice warrantry.

Cons: Drive died within a few months of purchase. Woke up in the middle of the night, and thought a wire was caught in my CPU fan. Turns out, that was the hard drive dying.

Other Thoughts: I'll see if the 2nd drive works any better. Personally, wish I had gone with a WD... or anything but Seagate.
