Poor Quality Drive

Tech Level: high - Ownership: less than 1 day

Pros: Initially, I thought the 5yr. warrenty was a nice feature.

Cons: drive only read as 111GB by both win2kpro and spinrite.

Other Thoughts: installed, BIOS recognized drive, OS acknowledged and attempted to format NTFS, stuck at 93%.ran spinrite v6, which found over 40 sectors with physical defects. I stopped SR after the 40th defect and removed drive for RMA. all in the day I received from UPS.

Other Thoughts: i added this and a second hd bracket to my grandsons 80 gb dell ,so now he has a 200 gb computer-came right up in my computer

Pros: This is a very quiet drive! Easy install.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is the second one I have purchased in the last 3 months for computers I am refurbishing. This one was for a computer I am putting together for my mom. Great product, quick delivery, item as listed-Thanks Newegg!
