Excellent Budget Drive
- Pros: Lots of SATA-accessable space for really cheap. Got it to replace an old 80gb WD IDE drive I've been using for the past 3 1/2 years, and I'm very satisfied.
- Cons: Actual formatted space is 280gb, NOT 300gb as it's described. However, for the price, it's not really a complaint.
- Other Thoughts: My motherboard only supports SATA 150, and in order to make it run at that speed rather than the default SATA 300, I had to pop in a jumper pin. However, since this is an OEM drive, it doesn't come with jumper pins, so make sure your motherboard supports SATA 300 or you have a spare jumper pin lying around before buying this.
- Pros: working great. i have two of these in SATA RAID 1
- Cons: none so far.
- Pros: receive the products with no problems, running smoothly
- Cons: one of the hard drives that came in the box was damage on the card that is located at the back of the hard drive. don't know how far is it going to be till something happens.
- Other Thoughts: make sure that when the items are place in the box are place carefully and who ever is handleling it, to be carefull.
