- Pros: The drive is great. No power adapter needed, easy to travel with. Small, light, what is not to like. Another nice touch is the large orange light on the front, it fades in and out when you are moving data to/from the drive, nice stylish touch!
- Cons: none,
- Other Thoughts: I personally do not use the software that came with it, I just use Windows Explorer to use the drive.
not bad - but be careful with it
- Pros: good external source for storing files.
- Cons: Well, at first I thought that it was defective. However, found that when it was too close to my laptop, it would stop functioning. Moved it away about 12 inches and it started working again. Left some heartaches at first because I lost some information, but after I figured this out, I had no problems with it

Does the job!
- Pros: After three months of use in an industrial facility I think it is safe to say that this product holds its own very well
- Cons: The only negative is that it requires the use of two USB ports, one for power and one for data presumably
- Other Thoughts: A good product
it's ok i guess
- Pros: No power brick to carry around, looks nice, fast, long usb cable compared to other similar portables
- Cons: Can't write to it from a mac, maybe because of NTFS, idk
Rubber footies come off easily (two of mine are gone, another friend with the same model lost all four of his).
The connection between the mini USB and the hard drive is weak-- if i move the hard drive around while it's plugged in, it will lose power due to the cable wiggling around and start clicking/beeping. Hopefully I haven't physically damaged the disk
When ejecting from vista, the hard drive will never powers off--only the drive disappears from My Computer. Doesn't happen in xp
- Other Thoughts: I removed all of the software from the hard drive. I don't really have any use for what was included.
Only in the case of single USB port not providing enough power would you need to plug both USB cables into a computer. This happens with my friend's macbook
Decent drive, needs custom cable
- Pros: Small, fast, quiet
- Cons: Requires a custom "Y" USB cable. Mini-USB plugs into the drive, and the other end of the cable is plugged into 2 USB ports. Many other drives have a DC port to plug in power, or will draw all of its power from 1 USB port (which is technically against USB spec, but many drive manufacturers do it anyway), but this drive does not have the ability to do either.
- Other Thoughts: Fine drive, as long as you keep the (included) custom USB cable with it at all times. That's fine for me, since I bought these for archival purposes.
