Pros: Installed great.

Cons: Only ran eight months, and that's rounding up. Laptop sits on a desk, doesn't get hauled around, so can't even blame it on a shock. It sat there and died. No warning, was working great, now it's dead.

Pros: Good upgrade for my aging Dell D600. Quiet and relatively fast.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Been using for 6 months and have had zero problems.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Died after 6 months of use

Other Thoughts: I've never known Samsung to make high quality hard drives... and this was no exception. It seems to be a common theme that these drives live fast and die young. I probably wouldn't buy any Samsung hard drive again.
