Pros: One of the least expensive 500GB drives available. Fairly quiet (no fan). Nice looking, simple, enclosure.

Cons: Have to jump through 3 hoops to recover your $40 (mail-in, instant, and promo).

Other Thoughts: I opened my enclosure as I was curious as to what drive I was getting from Fantom... lo and behold it is a Western Digital WD5000AAKS. This is one of WD's finer drive offerings. Kudos to Fantom for choosing this drive. Kudos to NewEgg for the good price and excellent service.

Pros: Very good price, excellent shipping time. Can't beat the price for 500 GB. Conversion to NTSF from FAT32 took only about 2 minutes.

Cons: At night, if you leave your HD on, the LED light is pretty bright and annoying. I usually cut mine off at night though, so no big deal there.

Other Thoughts: Very nice product. Price was great. Shipping was great. NewEgg is on point with shipping and customer service. Definite buy if you are look for some massive storage.

Pros: Runs cool.

Cons: HUGE blue light on the front was enough to distract me while copying files.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these drives over a year. One died within 8 months and the other died a week after purchase. Would definitely not recommend this product.

Pros: Can't beat the price. Quiet. Reasonable quick on USB 2.0.

Cons: I feel ya on the led(two reviews back). SATA would have been faster but I didn't have external SATA at the time.
