Pros: I've had this for 6+ months, and I'm still trying to find one.

Cons: The power cable keeps falling out. I have to stabilize it with - get this - a roll of stamps. You heard me.

Either one of the two 500gb drives or the bridge failed. Had to send it back for repair within 2 weeks of owning it. Thankfully, this drive was so ridiculously bad that I still had the data I was trying to back up.

Other Thoughts: This is one f'ugly paperweight.

I do have to say that BeyondMicro's Tech Support was friendly and helpful. I feel sorry that they have to support such an awful product.

Pros: Ridiculously fast transfers! Huge space.

Cons: Tried backing up my room mates computer after he stupidly got a virus. Before it was finished it stopped transfering and began making very strange, loud noises which are not normal for a hard drive to make.

Tech support sucks so far. I've been waiting for them to get back to me for over a month after I initially filled out the support form.

Other Thoughts: I'd hold off on this. If you need something that works, just purchase an internal hard drive and convert it to an external. I've never had a hard drive fail before, figures it would happen with something this big though.

First problem with something bought from New Egg.

Pros: Relatively small for a TB. Quiet fan.

Cons: I bought 4 of these. After 1 hour of use, all 4 have stopped responding and do not work.

Other Thoughts: I guess you get what you pay for. It was a low price for a TB.

Pros: the fan's quiet, but i havn't left it on long enough yet to find out how productive it is yet. i also like the fact that you can switch the fan off, don't know why i would do that though.

Cons: this product was a rip off. instead of the two 500 gig hard drives there was two 150 gig hard drives. it even came in a box that stated 1T. the usb connection in back doesn't hold the cord very well. the hard drives are seagates. the lights in front are way too bright. i cover the front so i don't get blinded.

Other Thoughts: i've never bought this bought this brand before and this is the first time that i've had a problem with an item purchased from newegg
