Works, but misunderstood.
- Pros: Works great! Fast, easy, and almost fun. Takes the stress off when you're trying to transfer something fast. I also like it because it's hotswappable (no need to turn the computer off).
- Cons: After plugging in a hard drive, it sometimes does not recognize other hard drives plugged into it, UNLESS you move the to another USB port OR you restart your computer. This hindrance is sometimes a hassle, especially if I'm switching back and forth between two different drives.
- Other Thoughts: Wish it would have come with a trial software for drive cloning and such, but what a great price anyway! Gave it a 4 because of the cons.
Not one of my best choices.
- Pros: Worked well when I first got it. Recognized all the drives I tried on it: DVD-ROM, 3.5" HDD, 2.5" Notebook HDD.
Be careful; by default it autoplays files on the drive. (in WinXP) I ended up with a nasty virus while working on a friend's HDD.
- Cons: Only got to use it 5-6 times until it finally just stopped working. On any computer with any device
Junk
- Pros: Worked great for a short time
- Cons: quickly turned into a piece of junk
