4 out of 5 eggsGood Set

Pros: Very good for a HTPC. Has great range, pretty good at not missing keystrokes. Mouse is very accurate, it may not read button presses all the time, but I have been impressed with the tracking. Incredible battery life.

Cons: It is still wireless. If you don't really need wireless, just go wired. It is cheaper, and it is much more reliable. With this set it is pretty minimal, but you still will get frustrating missed keys and lag. And it happens in clusters, whether its the keyboard keys or the mouse buttons, every now and then, it will just fail to register, or register very poorly for a couple seconds at a time. Especially if you are into gaming, don't go wireless, you will just end up replacing it.

Like some other reviewers, I have also gotten the erratic space bar at times. Sometimes it wont read at all, other times it will give you like 5 spaces at once. THIS IS NOT JUST LAG! It is acting like a macro when it does this, believe me I have tested this thoroughly. Anyway, if this happens, you pretty much just have to reset it.

Also, the mouse is kind of small, and the buttons are pretty awkward to press. The media buttons on the keyboard are easy to accidently press. It is a dust magnet.

Other Thoughts: Cons Con Continued...
the rubbery finish makes dust stick, and more difficult to clean.

I am just not a fan of logitechs wheel for any of there mouses. it is undersized, difficult to press, doesnt spin well, and the side to side is useless.

Also, pretty expensive for what you get.

Other Thoughts:
Bottom line, if you know you want a wireless set, I would recommend this one. However unless you need wireless like for a HTPC, or you are a casual user who could care less about performance and just wants the clean wireless look, strongly consider going with a wired set.

I started of with HTPC needs, where i couldn't use wired, but now I have gotten more into gaming and my needs have changed and I had to replace it. Recently just got a Razer Lycosa and a Razer Deathadder, and the difference is night and day, couldn't be happier with my new set.

But Logitech makes a good product and this is one of the best wireless options out there.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: Love this keyboard. Use in my lap and it has good comfort level. Only upgrading because I want backliting.

Cons: Keys a little noisy, if it had backlighting it would be a keeper! Goes through batteries so best to use rechargables(maybe that is why they don't last though)

1 out of 5 eggsErrors and failure after many months

Pros: Worked very well when it worked.

Cons: Bought about 5 of these for the office and 2 of them have failed after many months of good service. Symptoms include delays when clicking icons and delays switching from applications. Clicking sometimes stops altogether. I thought it was a problem with the laptop and spent hours reconfiguring. When I finally disconnected the USB dongle and tried a different dongle (same model) from another computer, everything worked fine again. Then another keyboard set failed on a different computer. Was using on Fujitsu T series tablets. Don't recommend for longevity

5 out of 5 eggsMy favorite wireless KB&M

Pros: Good battery life
Zero lag/delay
Small USB thinger

Cons: Honestly...none!

Other Thoughts: I've had this wireless KB&M set for about a year and its fantastic. It works as well and as reliably as a conventional KB&M but there just arnt any wires. Love it.

5 out of 5 eggsDouble Plus Good

Pros: I bought this for my first gaming rig build about two years ago. Yes, I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse for gaming. And it was glorious. Battery life is amazing, precision is remarkable, and the great receiving distance comes in handy every once in a while.

Cons: The mouse sucks every last bit of juice it can from the batteries and tends to have inconsistent responsiveness towards the end of the battery life. But so what.

Other Thoughts: The left mouse button has gotten a little stuck after two years of serious FPS play. Either a mechanism is wearing down, or all my skin/whatever is clogging the insides. I think it's time to buy a replacement!

2 out of 5 eggsWAS good

Pros: Mouse still works great. Keyboard has a nice feel, and the multimedia buttons are easily accessible. The mouse has a nice feel, but it would be nice if it had more buttons - but I kind of like the placement of buttons 4 and 5

Cons: Keyboard started failing after ~6-9 months. Sometimes keys would stop working and then after adjusting keyboard placement or replacing batteries, they would be better, but it has gotten progressively worse. Now the Escape, Windows, and Alt keys don't work, and some of the letter keys are flaky.

Other Thoughts: It's not too late for me to get a replacement, but I think I may just look for something new; from what I've heard, this particular keyboard model suffers dead key problems fairly often. Don't get me wrong; Logitech is a great brand and usually has great products, but this keyboard is shoddy.

5 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard/mouse combo

Pros: It's wireless, has a nice look, forward/back buttons on mouse are nice on the top because I don't bump them like I tend to do with ones that are on the side, generally works pretty well. Price was exceptional for a good wireless laser combo.

Cons: Every so often it seems to have some signal loss and keystrokes are missed - this might be due to the fact that I have all sort of stuff cluttered on my desk (just need to do a little cleaning this week) so I am going to give it the benefit of saying it was interference cause by clutter.

Other Thoughts: Works fine with Windows 7. One of the included software tools was incompatible but I didn't need it anyhow and Windows 7 is still just in the beta stages so can't really yell about that. Haven't tested out the range on this yet.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy as a lark

Pros: I am totally satisfied with this keyboard and mouse. I don't know why it took me so long to get one. Not only has it been carefree and but I was blessed to catch it on sale with free shipping. I got the best of two worlds. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. It works!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: I don't have a reason to buy another.

Other Thoughts: I also like to stroke of the keyboard. I am a average typist and those are things I've noticed. Thanks Newegg for all the service you provide. Products arrive in good shape and in a reasonable time frame. I must say again Thanks

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great set, well over a year of heavy use before the letters on the keyboard even started to fade, great range. it was my first mouse that had the page back and forward buttons in the middle of the mouse, was easy to adjust to and now i love them there and get annoyed at mouses that dont place them in the middle

Cons: no lamps on the keyboard at all ( i frequently had my passwords rejected because i accidentally turned on capslock and never new about it.) Placement of the media buttons on the side became annoying whenever i would pick the keyboard up i would inevitably hit one by mistake

Other Thoughts: the last few months of owning this (ive had it for around 3 years total) the mouse stopped tracking normally, i never did figure out if it was due to interferance or because the set was dieing

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Wireless, batteries last long, at least in the keyboard. Matches my desk and comp peripherals including my logitech speakers. Have had for almost two years and it still looks brand spankin new. Extra buttons are programmable, i use the volume and song controls daily.

Cons: Mouse is pretty heavy with batteries in it.

Other Thoughts: I dont use the mouse it came with, i did for about a month till i got the VX nano. Talk about a sweet mouse. Bought the same combo for my G/F and she loves it as well. I use it to watch tv from my pc on my 42" lcd while i lay in my bed.
