5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed

Pros: Very comfortable and the layout is excellent. Goes to 'sleep' to help battery life.

Cons: Nintendo Game Cube controller look and feel to it? Not really a con, but if you go look at your old controller, the plastic on this is very similar. Just kinda cheap?

Other Thoughts: Overall very satisfied with it. Curious how long the batteries last.

4 out of 5 eggsNice, Compact and Durable

Pros: This little wireless keyboard was the perfect choice for my new HTPC setup.

Although the feel of the keyboard isn't ideal for word processing, it works fine for the limited typing that accompanies organizing media files.

The trackball is great, my wife loves the scroll wheel and the left click button position as well as the fact that the compact size allows the keyboard to fit in the drawer with our other remote controls. It has quickly become an integral part of our television and radio entertainment. It is easy to hold and manipulate. Also, the unit seems to be well made and feels solid and not at all "cheap" like I expected. The range is good and overall the performance of this item far exceeded my expectations.

Cons: It uses four AA batteries. Time will tell as to how long they last.

Other Thoughts: Some other reviewers mentioned the fact that the unit doesn't respond after periods of non-use. This is because it goes into a power-saving mode after about 10 minutes of non-use. One click of the left mouse button wakes it right up and its then ready to go on the next keystroke.

4 out of 5 eggsNifty solution!

Pros: This product is great! There is but a *single* flaw, which I will get to in 'Cons.' The keyboard is a good shape, conducive to holding and using as a two handed track ball, and typing on it is rather easy, even in your lap. It's not terribly heavy, but does have a little heft so it doesn't feel like it's going to fly out of your hands.

The power saving works great, but we use it rather sparingly, so I don't have an every day experience on battery life. It works as we need it to. The RF range on it is rather phenominal, especially considering it's going behind the computer and through some other materials, and *that* is the most impressive portion of this keyboard.

If you need a wireless solution for keyboard/mouse that goes through walls and will just plain work, this is the one.

Cons: The single flaw, in my estimation, is the battery cover needs to be a little more beefy in it's retention latch. I broke it right off first thing. As it's not a huge deal, I just used some duct tape to affix the cover. Nobody minds, or even notices. Even though it's silver against the black keyboard. I may get black tape next time.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Media Center Keyboard

Pros: I was a little nervous about buying this keyboard since its a random company I've never heard of and the packaging photo makes it look kinda cheaply made. But it seemed like exactly what i wanted. I couldn't be more pleased. Ive had it about a week and love it. Works great, even pretty usable for gaming, just finished mass effect with it. The track ball takes a little getting used to but its not bad. Works fine when u adjust to it. Granted its no gaming mouse so its not for hardcore gamers but its fine for the average user/gamer. Keep in mind i bought this to use with my 32 inch LCD so its not really a desktop keyboard. but that should be obvious.

Cons: None so far. Prolonged gaming use causes slight hand cramping but nothing major. Could just be me.

Other Thoughts: No idea on the battery life yet but seems fine so far.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: Solid with good ergonomics.

Cons: Cat barf killed my old one so I'm ordering a new one. Directional RF issues... see other thoughts below.

Other Thoughts: Folks have mentioned the RF problems, somewhere I read, and it has been my experience, that tilting the keyboard so the bottom faces the receiver fixes the issue.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked out of the box with my Mythbuntu home theater PC.

I usually have the keyboard sitting on the coffee table several feet from the TV/HTPC, and I've never had trouble with range.

The mouse buttons, trackball, and scroll wheel all work great, and are placed in a position that allow you to use them while standing.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsGlad I bought it

Pros: This keyboard has done everything I wanted it to.
I was using my comp as a htpc but now since my tv doesn't seem to produce a good enough picture I've just been using it as a regular computer- it has worked great with both setups and it saves space by eliminating the mouse and wires....

and..i bought it for 50 instead of 70! so I am really glad I bought it ><

I was worried it wouldn't be very sturdy but it is prety well build- if you dont give it a rock bottom on the time it should last you atleast a few years imo

I also use this keyboard to play games, including AoC-
first it was hard to get used to but after awhile it feels natural.

Cons: Unlike other users I have noticed it not giving a complete signal at times if something is in the way
but that something has to be really close
for instance if I sit right up to my desk with the keyboard nearly touching the drawer but not- it will have a week signal and work...just miss sometimes.
when i had my comp as an htpc, if my lagg were to get in the way of the keyboard it would do the same.

other than that it's been great

1 out of 5 eggsNot Durable

Pros: Small, fairly lightweight, fits into most over the shoulder bags. Easy to use, and uses generic drivers.

Cons: After only 2 months the wireless usb dongle failed, so now the keyboard doesn't work at all. Upon opening the case I found a glob of solder touching one of the pins. I don't know where it is supposed to connect to, but their quality control is garbage.
