Decent
- Pros: I own the Saitek Eclipse and Eclipse II keyboards and really like them so decided to give this one a try. The feel and response of the keys is very well done, the different levels and colors of lighting is very nice. If you have a lot of desk room this would be a good keyboard for you.
- Cons: One thing I did not realize when I bought it was it's size. It is much wider than I expected. Too wide to fit in my keyboard tray under the desk so keep that in mind. Another issue is that it is too easy to accidentally push one of the side button which in gaming is bad as it pulls you out of the game to display the tool of the button you pushed.
I am not too excited about the top panel controls. The sound control is not well done as it is hard to raise or lower the volume to the level you want.
Another good one in the Eclipse series
- Pros: I owned 2 Saitek Eclipse 2's and loved them. The key press was perfect, firm but not hard with smooth key travel. I love the soft touch feel of the keys, they are the satin-y plastic type you find on some mobile phones. Also the keys are very quiet which I like. The touch panel is pretty good, at first I was sad they took the buttons away, I always prefer physical buttons vs touch panels. But with that said it's quite functional. Another reviewer mentioned the volume bar is always at 5 bars for him. The volume bars do not represent the volume of the computer, but rather control it. So that reviewer just has the volume at max. The single reason I upgraded from my 2 to the 3 is because of the headphone/mic jacks on the keyboard which was key for me.
- Cons: It's quite big so if you have a small desk this may not be the best purchase for you. I don't use the hot keys often which adds to the width. My real con here is that I miss my media buttons, get rid of the touch panel Saitek!
- Other Thoughts: I want to give this keyboard a perfect 5 eggs, but it's not perfect and should not get a perfect score. I would like to see Saitek release a smaller version sans the huge hot buttons on the side and replace the touch pad with actual physical media buttons, it makes it easier to control without looking at your keyboard!

Grade A Keyboard
- Pros: There are so many for me personally I have my tv connected to the computer so I can watch anything on the HDTV and that is really cool so my problem was having to switch between computer speakers and tv surround system and the sound jack on the keyboard is brilliant
- Cons: some of the touch sensitive buttons should be more touch sensitive and it is the only reason i did not give it 5 stars and the only button that is really hard to use is the far left button that is to turn all lights on or off
- Other Thoughts: if they had made the touch sensitive part buttons it would have accomplished the same thing
Gaming Keyboard

- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Makes an alright gaming keyboard
I like it
- Pros: Nice quality feel
