An all-around great monitor

Pros: Nice wide screen and fast response time.
Good color saturation and dark blacks.
Great for gaming and DVD movie watching.
Useful tools on CD.

Cons: A tad bright.

Other Thoughts: I've had to a chance to game and watch movies on my monitor. Colors are very crisp and sharp (I'm using the DVI connector) and blacks are black :-). The monitor is a little on the bright side but given the useful tools on the CD who can complain?

Samsung has become my favorite company for LCDs and one of my favorite companies in general ;-).

Very pleased with gaming performance

Pros: When i watched the woman from Fed-Ex drop my monitor on my front steps as she was delivering it I thought @@**??!! It came out unscathed and without any dead pixels. I replaced my tired Sxxy $900 19 inch CRT with this and it simply looks great althou the text isn't the greatest but tweaking the settings on the monitor and in windows helps. Even thou the manual said it would ask for the cd to install drivers Windows XP Pro with SP2 did it all upon startup for me. Althou I question the claimed 4 ms Grey to Grey it rocks thru games without any noticeable ghosting so far using an ATI X800XT PE with latest drivers. Comes with both analog and digital cables.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I almost went with the 900 dollar HX 2355 but this monitor is better for gaming than the 16:10 or 16:9 LCDs that are out now. You aren't gonna get black blacks on any LCD due to the backlight but this LCD doesn't have the bleedthru white lines top or bottom that some LCD monitors do. To those who said the auto-adjustment doesn't work it is designed for analog hook-ups only. If you're concerned about ghosting dead pixels etc since the LCDs have taken over you can get 19 inch CRTs dirt cheap now but these LCDs are so light and take up so little space compared to a CRT i say--GO FOR IT!!

Too Bad

Pros: Very nice bright LCD, much more crisp than my last LCD.

Cons: Backlight failed after 5 days.

Other Thoughts: Too bad Newegg went away from RMAs for most products, now I have to deal with Samsung *sigh*
