Pros: Great picture clarity. The Windows 7 themes look gorgiou at 1920x1200. I've also been playing Left 4 Dead 2 and Mass Effect 2, and thus far everything is beautiful. Colors are nice and bright, and darks don't look washed out. No dead pixels or other defects or artifacts. refresh rate seems to keep up with the action in both just fine. In short, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
Cons: Picture controls aren't intuitive. Current drivers, shipped or on website, don't support Windows 7 (though the standard driver works fine so this is a minor quibble). The base is a little useless as far as adjustments go, though I didn't have the issues other people did having to brace themselves and force it to snap together. My monitor used a hand screw which holds the base firmly to the arm. Perhaps Samsung has corrected the oversight of the previous design found in other reviews.
Other Thoughts: Would recommend this monitor to a friend.

Pros: I was given the option to go with a large LCD display at work and picked this one. I am happy to say that it has exceeded my expectations.
Primarily this will function as a work display for typical business productivity applications. For that, it excels: Excellent 1900 x 1200 resolution. Text is crisp! Color and contrast are both excellent at this price point.
Cons: None that I can think of
Other Thoughts: Again, a solid value for a general use business display. Yes. It is a TN panel, but it's also priced accordingly.

Samsung makes good monitors1

Pros: This is a good monitor. I have three samsungs. Two 19" models and one 2433BW. I like the 2433BW for it's design and good quality. Samsung makes good products and haven't had any problems with them!
Cons: None really, except for the recent one I just ordered from Newegg was DOA. I sent it back and now waiting on a new one to arrive. First time I have ever run into this problem with Samsung. Just wish there was a quicker way for this process. I received the monitor, the next day it was at UPS. They rescheduled the delivery date by 5 days and arrived to newegg a day early. But now I have to wait.
Other Thoughts: Wish I didn't have to wait on a replacement. I would recommend calling newegg and not dealing with their online support. I believe their online is based in I n d i a and it frustrated me as they read from a script and won't vary off it. I had to ask the same question 3 times before they finally answered it and understood what I was saying. One phone call to newegg and they answered my questions the first time and explained it to me.
