Pros: it is BEAUTIFUL coming form 17 inch 1280x1024 monitors the difference is staggering. images are amazingly crisp
16:9 aspect ratio so i can still watch all my hd movies without either having stretch or black bars had it for over a month and not a single issue ever, for "touch" buttons, they work very well compared to some others that have dealt with my gaming has never been better then it is on this bad boy
very impressive brightness controls it has the full range of barely visible to "sun" brightnesses for whatever your eyes could possibly desire
Cons: not really a con but it might have you rethinking your graphics cards. if you are gonna be gaming on it you need either some decent cards or be willing to turn down the resolution.
Other Thoughts: when i bought this i had two vosiontek hd 3850's oc'd in crossfire and i was having trouble maxing out fallout 3. a week later i splurged again on a radeon 4890 xxx edition and now i max everything in it's native resolution.(except crysis i still only get 23 fps on 2048x1152 during heavy action)

Pros: I've had this monitor for exactly a week. And my first impressions are, wow, this thing is a beauty! The gloss finish is very nice! It's so nice it makes you feel bad for having to touch the gloss to press the "buttons." I have a feeling this monitor is the fastest monitor to resume viewing from a sleep mode or off state I have ever seen. It's about a second and a half to start seeing picture. Very impressive! There should be no reason why your computer can't support this resolution, the first impressions of this monitor were ran beautifully on a Geforce 4 Ti4400. And Though I have only tried a few games, so far every game I have seen has been able to support this 16:9 resolution. So I would say that this is a great monitor to game on! I have had to turn the contrast down at times because IT IS BRIGHT! Kudos to Samsung for making a monitor with this kind of capability and at an affordable price. I've had it a week and its already dropped 10 bucks! Go Newegg!
Cons: Well, yes: no tilt, sorry that would bring the price up of this great monitor, but is a drawback. To add I also felt the included DVI cable was a bit short, and, yes, there is unfortunately no HDMI Input. And somehow its found as a major drawback. I find this not to be that big of a deal because: 1. Duh, DVI is fine! 2. Who really enjoys their monitor speakers? The only reason is just to have multiple inputs to this monitor. So, if you like multiple computers plugged into one monitor, then the HDMI would be beneficial to you. But, in my case, this is my gaming computer, If I wanted to plug multiple computers into a screen it would be an HDTV. The stand was a small task to get attached correctly, but after a small bit of force it attached fine. And as said before the "buttons" need to be lit up when pressed as the writing is small. These "Cons" are too small to NOT buy this monitor. If you have gotten through what I've typed, then your already thinking about buying it, do it!
Other Thoughts: One review mentions about the gloss finish at the top "mirroring" the tops of the windows onto the inside lip of the monitor. I found this not to be an issue with me, as my eye level to the monitor is near the top of the monitor, so I don't see it. But if I lean down, its definitely noticeable, but it still isn't a bother. The top lip is pretty small.
I seem to be still used to pressing the power button on the very very bottom right corner a my previous monitor which was dell. This monitor's power "button" is about an inch left of the corner passed the blue light. I keep touching the the other side of the light to turn it on (face palm), but I'm getting used to this monitor. All in all a great product, Highly Recommended. These cons are minuscule! This monitor is top notch!
Other Other Thoughts: Newegg reports in the title that this monitor is 20,000 contrast ratio, when it CLEARLY says on the top of the monitor that it is 50,000:1. Hope that detail can be fixed.

Pros: -The native 2048x1152 screen is very bright with lots of real estate; also perfect for modern warfare 2 (just make sure you card supports the native res. I'm using a gtx260)! -The high glossy bezel really is not reflective, which is good. -The dynamic contrast is actually 50,000:1 (despite what the newegg specs say).
Cons: -Would have preferred the menu buttons be lit up, but I'm just nit-picking. -Viewing angles aren't great, but not bad either. The monitor swivels easily and tilts. If your sitting level with the monitor, you should be fine.
Other Thoughts: I just hope it doesn't go down in price by black friday. I really needed a new monitor LOL
