Pros: After a rediculous long time research and multiple returns, finally I found my dreamed LCD monitor. This NEC has perfect picture quality, especially its color, very saturate and accurate. I am very picky with colors. The major reason for previous returns (NOT TO NEWEGG :) is due unsatisfied color reproduction, either washed out or artificially saturate and unreal. Text performance is also very good, website and document text crisp clear. TV tuner is an extra bonus, just plug in and got nice picture. Accurate and vivid color is the key and fundamental success, with 6ms refresh, it gives all you need, GAME, DVD, Programming, TV as you name it.

Cons: Not I can think of now.

Other Thoughts: Initially it looks a bit pricey for this 20 inch guy. But I can promise that you can never get this high color quality from those cheaper 22 inches. Plus, Newegg's price is amazing, with a free combo HP color ink printer and 100$ rebate, who can ask for more?

Pros: very good monitor.. crisp.. bright.. clear images. all other options are bonus! 0 dead pixel for me D;

Cons: seems like monitor makes static noise when LED goes orange(sleep mode i believe).. it is hard to notice unless you go near the back of the monitor.. i was working something close to LCD.. noise was very annoying. I'm not sure if i got a defective 1 or every monitor is like this??

Other Thoughts: very good monitor once again.. I'm bit nervous of calling support to get replaced ot fix my issue.. since monitor is very nice without any dead pixel =(

Pros: wanted a either 22",24"ws lcd to begin with for gaming and multimedia capabilities.after much research decided to go with this.
incredibly bright and vivid colors.
Gamut of imputs(other than hdmi)great for gaming,dvds,HD up to 1080i

Cons: No HDMI,expensive($100.rebate helps)

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for in this case. super quality! This moniter came Highly recommended for this particular panel
Still want a 24"WS lcd (Benq),but am extremely pleases with this for gaming

Pros: What a brilliant screen. Plus, TV is an added bonus. Setup was quick and intuitive, and TV didn't require any additional work other than plugging the cable in. Very nice.

Cons: Setting up the rear wire cover was difficult.

Pros: It's the image, totally the image. I've never seen another monitor off the shelf with this clarity and richness. The preset DV mode button is great. You can automatically switch between photo settings which makes my 8M pics look almost real, to gaming mode which makes playing darker games like half life much easier to view. The TV tuner works really well. It doubles in my bedroom as our TV, plugs right into the cable.

Cons: not a chance............could make me happier with a 24" with exaclty the same picture quality.

Other Thoughts: I've had some Dell's, Samsung, Gateway's, sceptre, even a wilmington at work and home and this is the one I use. It has everything I could ask for. If only they had a larger version of similar spec.

Pros: Fast for gaming and graphics. Superb resolution.

Cons: Only one dead pixel and I had to look hard for it.

Other Thoughts: If you have the coin, buy it! As always, buy it from New Egg. Best Customer Service and fastest shipping on the planet!

Pros: This monitor is incredible, the brightness, clariry, viewing angle, inputs, and configurability (right down to the power button brightness) is top notch! Oh and not a single bad pixel either!

Cons: Absolutely none other than the tv tuner showing just how bad standard tv res is, not that its the lcd's fault! 525x384(?) just doesn't look the greatest when its scaled up to 1680x1050. Now I need digital cable to do the monitor justice when I watch tv!

Pros: Well it's all been said about this unit. Here's a very nice display with excellent brightness, clarity, sharpness, and color. It's built well and has some decent adjustment features. The swivel base is useful as is the wire concealment on the back.

Cons: The TV tuner, remote, speaker bar, and other fluff could have been left out to save on cost and complexity. Some of us just want a top-notch computer monitor w/o the kitchen sink thrown in.

Other Thoughts: -1 for the added gimmicky features/extra cost.

Pros: Color gamut, brightness, response time, DV presets for standard/text/gaming(those 3 are very useful) placement of USB ports, wire management, semi-gloss surface(I normally hate glossy LCDs, but this is anti-glare gloss, it's phenomonally good), No defects or dead pixels, Speakers come off easily w/screwdriver(see manual), component input, PiP, power LED brightness adjustable, excellent scaling, zero backlight leaking.

Cons: Some slight banding in tests, not noticable normally. contrast in dark scenes(gaming mode fixes this 100% but should be noted this is a workaround for an inherant flaw in LCD technology); USB hub ceases working when monitor is powered off via button on the front.

Other Thoughts: This is a high quality product in every way conceivable. The wire management, the placement of all inputs/controls, rotating stand, usb ports. all wires are covered by removable panels.

Pros: Colors, contrast, brightness, the overall quality on this monitor is very good.The picture resizing works with every input.

Cons: Why couldn't they put a ATSC tuner in there? weak speakers

Other Thoughts: it's worth it, this is still my best tv or monitor purchase despite the tuner.
