Works for Mom
- Pros: Looks great. Good automatic adjustibility. Great price.
- Cons: Not widescreen which I knew.
- Other Thoughts: I almost kept for myself but stealing from your crippled 83 year old mother is probably a no no.
Nice and sharp
- Pros: Good color rendition, Pretty good plug-and-play features. Sharp images.
- Cons: It is actually too bright! I do a lot of photography, and even with my monitor calibration tools it profiles out too bright for accurate use in analyzing photos.
This is not a problem for normal use though. For MY use, it would only rate 3 stars, but for non-photographic use, it is worth at least 4 stars.
The one thing that cost this five stars is the way it handles text: if you have two l or two i or an i & l right next to each other there is purple or green fringing between them.
- Other Thoughts: There was supposed to be a good rebate when I bought the monitor, but the rebate came back as undeliverable, even though everything was done correctly, and the address was right. NewEgg was apparently unable to help in resolving this, although they looked into it at a low level.

- Comments: I am writing this review because I am back on the site ordering more of these. We got 6 of these for our small office a few months back. All worked great out of the box and they look fantastic. NO DEAD PIXELS found on any of them. No complaints - everybody loves them. Highly recommended.
