Pros: HUGE!!!! I was absolutely stunned when I realized how big this thing was. No dead Pixels!!!! Great color and Depth. Tremendous VALUE!!! No discernable ghosting during gaming. Best Bang for the Buck, PERIOD.

Cons: Vertical viewing angel leaves something to be desired. Minor back-light bleed-through at top and bottom of screen(on dark or black screens only. Totally unnoticeable in most applications including gaming) No frills...It's a monitor and that's it. (But that's why it's inexpensive)

Other Thoughts: As an IT Professional, I have used literally dozens of LCD's Some are better than this one, most are not. And for this Price/Size NONE can even come close. Sure, there are panels out there that can blow this away as far as color and viewing angles are concerned. However, you will PAY big bucks for those. If all you want is a good, solid display for a steal of a price, this is as good as it gets. If you want Perfect Color, giant Viewing angles, and extra features galore, then look elsewhere, and make sure you bring your Platinum card with you.

Amazing screen

Pros: Incredible picture. I jumped from a 19" crt and was stunned by how much more bright and crisp this monitor is over my old one. I do a lot of graphic work and it was nice to see all that extra real estate onscreen.

I was going to go with Viewsonic or Samsung originally, but I went to a computer store to compare the two. I saw an Acer next to the other 2 and was really surprised at how much richer and brighter the Acer was.

I came home and ordered the Acer 22" and I have not regretted it for a second. ZERO dead/stuck pixels. Incredible clarity and then the price! Unbeatable for such a high quality LCD. Extremely satisfied.

Cons: No complaints as of this time.

Other Thoughts: It's been mentioned before. They ship the monitor in its retail box. It is clearly obvious that it's a monitor. Make sure someone is home to recieve the delivery because UPS will porch the freakin' thing right out in the open. Would be nice if Newegg could just slap some paper over the box for a little more security.

Amazing

Pros: Very Large. Its the same height as my 19" monitor and about 1.5 times the width. Nice bright picture. Beautiful colors. No dead pixels. Half-life 2 looks amazing at 1680x1050 and no ghosting. This is the best deal for the money that I have seen.

Cons: I haven't found one yet.

Other Thoughts: I don't understand why other reviewers are so critical of the stand. Its a stand. It holds up the monitor and does its job. Its not like it wobbles around my desk or something.

good monitor

Pros: Big and cheap

Cons: ive recently hooked two up to run multiple monitors. one is dvi the other vga. They seem to flicker every once in a while, but it could be the video card.

Other Thoughts: colors and viewing angle are good.

Pros: Big screen for a decent price ($199 at time of purchase). One button access to 5 preset brightness settings, very useful for when you wanna browse in a dark room and don't want the bright screen burning your eyes.

Cons: Comes with a red pixel that shows up for 10 minutes everytime I turn on the LCD and also a constant light blue pixel in the middle of the screen which never goes away. When using the monitor in a low brightness setting, an annoying buzzing noise can be heard from the back of the LCD. The buzz goes away immediately once I turn the brightness up.

Other Thoughts: I know dead or stuck pixels are common in bigger LCD monitors but the buzzing noise from the back is probably coming from the transformer. As long as it doesn't blow out I'm fine with it.

Nice Monitor

Pros: To make a long story short, I'm impressed with the picture quality. No dead pixels. I bought 2 of these and use them in a dual monitor setup. I couldn't be happier.
Viewing angle is very wide. never an issue. Works best an native resoulition. Nice and sharp.

Cons: None that I can see.

Other Thoughts: Works nice for videos and games.
