Pros: Bright colors, no dead pixels. Auto install with Windows 7 and using the HDMI cable produces about the best picture that I have seen in a 22" class monitor.

Other Thoughts: This is the 8th Acer monitor (various sizes) that I have purchased in the last 3 years and they are all still running fine.

When these are on sale you can't go wrong. Why not go big?

Pros: This monitor does its job. It is a good size with a clear picture, and reasonably priced.

Cons: No major cons.

Other Thoughts: Just understand that it is not the latest in high-end technology. There are probably many better monitors out there with a sharper picture, but this screen was a good value for me.

Pros: This monitor is amazing (as declared in the title). You have to look extremely close to the monitor to see the pixels. The 1080p resolution makes it even better. Even though my graphics card doesn't support this resolution, it still looks amazing.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Am I thinking anything else?

Pros: Very cheap for the resolution it offers, 100mm VESA mounting, dual VGA and DVI ports, both cables included.

Cons: OSD could be worked on some more, one stuck pixel, black not as black as those found on good quality LED monitors.

Other Thoughts: I got this one as a second monitor for my PC. It worked right out of the box but it was a little bright by default. It took me a while to figure out the OSD to change the brightness a bit.

One stuck pixel, shows up as faint blue against black background. It is close to the edge and easily overlooked under normal circumstances so I'll ignore this one.

Overall it's not quite as good picture wise as my other Acer monitor that has LED backlight but for the price, it's fine.

Pros: I just plugged everything into the appropriate places, turned my computer and and it worked great. I didn't need to adjust anything, it did it itself!

Cons: None.

Pros: Great value/free shipping at the time of purchase. Didn't even have to adjust settings. Everything seems right after startup and no dead pixels after running some graphic/monitor test utils.

Cons: None at this point. Part of the frame and stand have glossy finishes which creates occasional glares. No big deal, just glad Acer still have models that come in flat black.

Other Thoughts: This is my second Acer purchase. Bought 2 X233Hbid Black last fall for family to replace older Dell LCDs. The higher resolutions along with other features are a great improvement.
All have been running smoothly, cooler ( compared to older LCDs ), no dead pixels or other issues.
The monitor gui settings took awhile to learn, but not a problem.
Very impressed with these Acer monitor brands & NewEgg's bargain prices/free shipping.
Would recommend these for school upgrades or those who are on a budget.

Pros: One of the highest DPI available currently. No stuck or dead pixels. Very bright. Has the option to maintain aspect ratio or stretch option for non-16:9 inputs.

Cons: Still only 103 DPI. OSD menu is clunky. Static contrast ratio is somewhere between 1:500 and 1:1000. Black is VERY NOT black.

Other Thoughts: Non-square bottom makes it awkward to mount one above another. Provided stand bulky. Dithering (2x4 moving pixel pattern) visible for mid tones. VESA mounting points flush with back surface. Provided stand attachment point completely removable. Clock recovery for VGA input takes a while to warm up. Dynamic contrast ships by default disabled. OSD comes with taunting reminder that you *could* have bought a monitor with built-in speakers, but not this one. Backlight is fluorescent.

Pros: This monitor is great for a few reasons.
First off I would like to say how under acknowledged this monitor is compared to the Asus. Yes, it doesn't have speakers, but it does look very nice and the picture quality is excellent.

First off the look of this monitor is very sleek, fancy, and nice. Not and eyesore like some of the monitors that are just shiny or get smudges on them very easily.

Second, the DVI cable that was included is a nice length, unlike some that come too short.

Third, the picture is real nice too. (I only see pixels for few games when looking real close.)

And lastly this thing is megacheap. I actually bought it for around 170 with shipping, but for the price it is now with free shipping: 150 it is almost a steal!!!

Cons: The menu is a little weird, but I never use that...

Other Thoughts: Buy this monitor, it is cheaper than the Asus, and from what I've heard the speakers are not even that good on the Asus, so you will be using your own speakers instead.

Pros: Ok, first of all, this trumps my old 720p moniter. The clarity on this bad boy is awesome. No dead pixels and its crazy bright. It is small and fits great on just about any desk. Runs SC2 on full settings and it looks amazing. Great buy.

Cons: The size is a bit deceptive. It really seems about the same size as my old moniter. The video cable that goes to you video card is also a little short.

Other Thoughts: Great buy at 150$. I was a little skeptic about buying this moniter b/c i have never owned an acer before. I am overall very pleased, but i don't give many things on newegg 5 stars. :P

Pros: This monitor was perfect for everything I bought it for. Perfect size, amazing color quality and brightness. I have this set up in a 2 monitor array, and when I drag something from this monitor to the other (AOC 20") I can see a drastic difference in color quality and brightness. The picture is just a lot crisper and better on the Acer. Also, I really like the stand, there may not be many adjustments, but it seems like a very solid stand that will hold up.

Cons: None so far, will update if I find any.
