A bit disappointing
- Pros: Bright. Cheap.
- Cons: Although the image quality is OK, there are significant drawbacks. The most obvious is a problem resolving text crisply. Letters have what I can only describe as a bright halo, which makes them somewhat fuzzy. This might simply reflect the fact that 1680 X 1050 is not quite sufficient resolution for a 22" screen. Or it could just be a problem with my unit. Second, there is *significant* backlight bleeding, even at fairly low brightness levels. Finally, the viewing angle is fairly limited, with significant color change at more oblique angles.
- Other Thoughts: I have both this BenQ 22" and the new BenQ 24". I bought the 22" because the 24" is absolutely awesome (the best monitor I've ever viewed). I guess I was expecting that the 22" would be a slightly scaled down version of the 24". But that's not at all the case. The image quality of the 24" is in a completely different class. Perhaps it's not fair to compare this monitor with one that costs more than twice as much, but sinking a bit more into the 24" would definitely be worth it.

- Pros: This monitor is awesome. Colors are great and this is by far the best 22inch monitor for the buck.
- Cons: To expensive to get Fedex Saver Service delivery.
- Other Thoughts: I purchased my 1ST FP222W from another vendor and im waiting for my 2nd order from newegg.

Great Monitor
- Pros: HUGE DISPLAY, DVI AND D-Sub inputs, I have two computers hooked up to it, all i have to do is press a button to switch inputs.
- Cons: Purple Boot Screen, when you turn the monitor on it will display the BenQ logo for 2-3 seconds, i'm not a fan of boot screens on my monitor, but I suppose its necessary for the monitor warmup before displaying an input
- Other Thoughts: A great monitor soo far, NEWEGG had fast service in getting it to me in the dorms.
Buy Buy Buy
- Pros: HUGE, excellent picture, no dead pixels, absolutely stunning
- Cons: You could say the buttons on the side, cuz its hard to tell which one you are on while trying to control things, but thats it.
- Other Thoughts: Buy Buy Buy, best monitor for the price without a doubt. I use it as my monitor, my tv, and to play xbox on. I could not be happier. I have no idea how anybody could complain about this.
Very nice LCD
- Pros: Price, features, included VGA and DVI cables.
- Cons: No height adjustment
- Other Thoughts: I am using the LCDs (ordered 2 of them) for CAD and schematic work and they work great. Good color and contrast.
