- Pros: Excellent contrast and brighness for the dollar. Speakers sound better than the specs lead you to beleive.
- Cons: Remote sucks. I found it works really well rotated 40 degress counter clockwise. Certain split screen conflicts/limitations have come up.
Great Product
- Pros: Pretty much everything. The tv itself is beautiful. The picture couldn't be any better, and for those of you who are gamers and want to know if your 360 will be used to it's full potential with this tv, look no further. I'm still working on getting my directv hooked up to it, but from watching DVD's and box sets of shows I have a feeling i'm not going to be disapointed. The PIP (Picture In Picture) is also really nice. You can even set it so that it's half and half instead of just the small box in the corner. This tv is GREAT. Highly recommended.
- Cons: I guess the remote. You really do have to be aiming directly at the tv. but it's not that big of a hassle to me really. The way my chair sets i'm pretty much directly across from the sensor anyway. Only other thing i've found is the sound sometimes seems to sorta muffle, but i've really only have that happen when im playing NBA2k7. so I maybe it has to do with that game or my settings. The default settings aren't that great, have to play around with them for a bit to get it just the way you want it, but no biggie.
- Other Thoughts: If you're worried this seems like too good a deal then don't. Sometimes things aren't too good to be true, in this case they are more than true. You won't be disapointed.
Excellent HD TV for the price
- Pros: Inexpensive, great picture, only one dead pixel. This is my first HD purchase and I am pleased with the results. Once you go HD, you can't go back!
- Cons: Not to beat a dead horse, but the remote sucks. I didn't notice right away, but the bottom half of the remote slides down for more remote commands! The options menu isn't too user friendly. A lot of settings are buried in other settings.
- Other Thoughts: I've noticed 'popping' or 'creaking' sounds as the TV heats up. I don't know if all LCDs do this, but it's a little strange. Anybody else experience this? Without these strange sounds I'd give this TV a 5 rating.
