Absolutely AMAZING
- Pros: 1) Crisp and clear picture/color.
2) No dead pixels
3) Not my 17" KDS CRT
4) WoW looks amazing
5) No bleeding
- Cons: 1) Auto adjust not user selectable. The monitor will stretch 4:3 aspect ratios to fill the screen.
2) Minor (and I mean minor) screen door affect. Unless you are a hardcore tech geek it will not bother you (Take that Type-A techie punks)
3) Some bleed through in the corners on COMPLETELY black screens. (But comon, how often do you stare at a COMPLETELY black screen)
4) Released almost 2 weeks later than expected. I've been waiting for this since CES. Also MSRP way off the mark from they're CES Press release. If these show up in stores they'll be $559
- Other Thoughts: I love this monitor. I have always had great luck with Viewsonic LCD's in the past (I bought one for my Dad and never got around to getting something for myself). The Widescreen rocks. ATI AIW 8500DV does not support native res. If you own an ATI be sure to get OmegaDrivers from OmegaDrivers.net.
Amazing
- Pros: I have purchased four (no more questions) displays for my home gaming system in the last year - as refresh rates have gone from 16ms to 8ms. None compare to this display. Envision 20.1" 1600 x 1200, Hyundai 1280 x 1024 - 8ms, Viewsonic 19" 12ms, and now this one.The colors on WoW and DDO are vibrant and crisp. I only use my monitors for gaming (I run two dual monitor systems) so I can't comment on other applications.There are people who comment of ghosting that have no clue what it means. Until you have run an 8ms monitor you have been experiencing ghosting without knowing it. I run an Nvidia 7800 GTX graphics card on both systems - I wish I would have bought four of these.

- Other Thoughts: No dead pixels - ViewSonic displays are head and shoulders better than the others I have purchased. Kudos to Newegg for great service - the online chat is AWESOME

Best Monitor EVER
- Pros: This is the best monitor out for the price. It freaking rocks!
- Cons: No height adjustment, but no biggy for my situation.
- Other Thoughts: Buy this monitor NOW!
Absolutly Gorgeous
- Pros: DVI input was my big seller. I've had this monitor for almost a year now I think. It's a gorgeous monitor. The picture is spectacular, crisp and clear with video's and games. WoW, Rise of Legends, GRAW.
- Cons: Why do they bother with the speakers? I don't have 2 (yet).
- Other Thoughts: Received in handy reusable packaging. No dead pixels. Perfect picture. Takes a tad bit of time to get used to widescreen if coming from normal screens.
Amazing Monitor
- Pros: No dead pixels, very crisp image, excellent for gaming (I play CS:S, Oblivion, and BF2) with no ghosting whatsoever, clean cable management in the back, great viewing angles for large groups to watch movies together, and it's a View Sonic!
- Cons: When you have a black screen, or a dark movie, you can tell if you look very closely that there's some light bleeding in the corners, but every LCD has a little bit of this. I was expecting a View Sonic to correct this issue, but they didn't. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because this monitor has the least amount of bleeding in any wide screen monitor out there, even the Dells/Macs! There is no height adjustable stand...
- Other Thoughts: You won't be disappointed with this monitor, it's perfect for games, movies, etc. Think about how much time you spend looking at your monitor, so why not invest in this amazing monitor?!
