Pros: Very clear picture, no noticeable ghosting. Mother of retina burning brightness. You'll have to turn the brightness and contrast down from their factory settings if you want to look at this thing for long periods of time. The 300 cd/m2 seems to be underrated here. Not that it's a bad thing to be too bright; I'm just used to the lcd's at work (a viewsonic and a samsung) with a 250 cd/m2 brightness. The 300 is a big step up apparently.
Cons: DVI does not work. I plug it in with the VGA connector and an adapter in the same plug and it works fine. Contacting ASUS support.
Other Thoughts: Reality looks duller after using. ASUS support has not impressed me. I'd hate to have to send this whole monitor back just due to a bad DVI plug, but until I get a video card that supports hdmi I'll be stuck running my signal through adapters.

Pros: -HDMI - Useful for gaming or anything that uses hdmi. Personally, I use it for my xbox 360 -Beautiful screen -Audio out port - I dont know if they mentioned that it is on this, but the audio out port is very useful in conjunction with hdmi, especially if you want sound to go through your computer speakers -No dead pixels on mine! -All around awesome!
Cons: -Onboard speakers suck, but you shouldnt be using them anyway -The colors are a little bright to begin with, but its an easy fix through the settings on either your video card or the monitor settings -The stand didn't match the height of my other monitor, but my Visual basic textbook fixed that -Didn't make me dinner
Other Thoughts: To elaborate more on the HDMI cable, if you're looking for a monitor to be able to use both computer and Xbox360/ps3/anything with HDMI and have the sound come out your computer speakers, this is the monitor for you. You won't regret it. A tip for those like myself who didn't know about the audio in port on your motherboard, the way that I have my setup is like this:
Xbox360 hooked to the monitor via HDMI, computer hooked up via DVI. A wire going from audio out on the monitor to the audio in port on my computer, and then my computer speakers plugged into my computer speaker port. IT WORKS AWESOME. All you have to do is switch the input on the monitor and you have HD on your xbox, then switch again to go back to your computer. It is perfect for what I wanted.

Pros: Crystal Clear picture. Has many settings so you can customize to your need. Has built in usb port, hdmi, dvi, and vga. I am able to flawlessly switch from 360 to cpu with clear picture every time.
Cons: The sound isn't great, but if you're buying the screen for the speakers than you have issues. Similar to laptop quality sound.
Other Thoughts: Webcam is nice, I didn't need it nor want it but now I have one. I really only bought this for hdmi port/size of the screen.
