Pros: I bought this monitor from newegg 2 years ago and its still going strong. The picture is just as nice looking today as it was the day I took it out of the box.

Still no dead pixels.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: In the 2 years that I've owned this monitor the only time I've turned it off aside from its sleep mode is when I'm cleaning and dusting my desk. In buying this monitor, you'll get something that will actually last.

I don't know about the speakers, since I've never bothered with them. You're not buying a monitor for a set of speakers though, I imagine.

Pros: - Crisp image
- Good size
- Fair price

Cons: - Included stand does not swivel

Other Thoughts: Have had this since 2009 and it still looks and works as good as new. Games look great on it and websites look spacious with this screen size. At a price of just $170 you really can't go wrong (I paid $209 and am very satisfied even with that price). Also ideal for people who like to use multiple monitors, though you might want to get something to set them on so you can swivel them when necessary.

Pros: wonderful service from newegg. i bought three of these monitors and they are working great. bigger than i thought they were going to be. great picture quality, really good quality once tweaked a little. now it's only been a couple days so i will be doing a follow up later down the road.

Pros: I've had this monitor for over a year now and have had absolutley no issues with it. I'm a graphic designer as well as an avid pc gamer so it gets a lot of use. The speakers are actually quite loud, and there's a headphone jack if needed.

I have my computer hooked up via the dvi port and my xbox hooked up via HDMI, it's great that I can just switch back and forth between the two and the HD picture is amazing :D

Cons: The only con I see is that the monitor buttons are stiff and require more pressure than usual to press.

Other Thoughts: To find a great monitor at such a low price, I feel as if I've cheated someone :p

Pros: Still running flawlessly after nearly 3 years of constant use. No dead pixels, color and brightness still great! I use it for everything from Gaming to CAD to BluRay Movies to basic paperwork, all excellent!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews about product failure and issues shortly after purchasing. Being a long time ASUS Customer I gave it a shot- I haven't seen any problems of the sort. Strongly recommend this product to any user.

Pros: I've had this monitor for almost 2 years now. This thing is great, no dead pixels...a solid purchase.

Cons: Glossy finish...ugh. Attracts dust and fingerprints all over it. When will manufacturers start using a matte black finish???

Pros: Awfully cheap. Picture is excellent after a bit of tweaking.

Cons: Not very adjustable. That's basically the corner they cut to get this model so cheap.

Other Thoughts: I actually tried the speakers, I suppose if you are in a situation with no headphones or speakers then you really cant be picky.....and they do work well enough. For the picture, I'd consider starting with the Theatre splendid preset then start raising the brightness (use a gradient).

Pros: Great monitor. 1080p, great price. 23.6". LED backlight. Matte screen is a plus for me as I hate glossy. Controls are easy to use. DVI and HDMI output.

Cons: Ships with a junk DVI cable. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Although it was still the correct resolution (1920x1080), the screen was only displaying about 20" of the 23.6" screen. There was a black border about 1.5" wide all the way around. I googled this issue and found others who resolved it by using a DVI cable that did NOT ship with the monitor. I swapped out the DVI cable with one of my existing ones, and everything worked fine. I had never seen this kind of issue before. It looks like they are shipping out a budget DVI cable that can't display the whole 23.6" screen. Will be purchasing another of these soon.

Pros: For the price it's a nice screen. I use it for my laptop and ps3. I have no problems with this screen at all.

Cons: Don't like how the buttons feel but i never mess with them.
