Pros: I bought a pair of these for dual display on a new system. The ability to adjust height was the main reason I bought this model - I don't understand why this feature isn't standard on all LCDs, but I'm very glad to have found it at such an affordable price.
No dead or stuck pixels. Kind of amazing when you think about it - 4.28 million or so pixels across two screens, and not a one is dead!
Excellent picture quality for general purpose work (business apps, programming, etc).
Cons: Workable, but not ideal, for photographic work. I calibrated them with a Spyder2, and the colors are quite good, but the color shifts quite a bit as you change position. LCD monitors for photography are far, far more expensive. For the price, I'm satisfied with these.
The piano-gloss finish, while very pretty, really shows dust, fingerprints and scratches!
Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer, so I can't say how well this would work for gaming.
My previous two monitors both had USB hubs, and I miss that convenience.

Nice monitor, after repair

Pros: Nice screen, no dead pixels, decent quality frame and stand.
Cons: Monitor worked for 10hrs, then died. I had tossed the shipping boxes, so couldn't RMA with Newegg. Sent it to Asus servicing and they fixed and returned the monitor within a week. Had to pay shipping there, but Newegg helped me out with a credit, excellent service by both Newegg and Asus warranty. Repaired monitor is working great.

Pros: Stand is nice if, you need it. The gloss finish and overall look is nice.
Cons: Everything is just mediocre, the viewing angle, display quality, text visibility... all just sorta "OK". Not horrible, but I guess I was expecting better. I keep playing with the settings trying to make it better. I can't find any setting that makes me really happy. The menu is also very poorly designed and annoying to use.
Other Thoughts: I got this to upgrade my Chimei 22" (1680x1050) monitor that I have used since 2006. It really doesn't seem like an upgrade at all. My main beef is the 16:9 aspect ratio, which makes no sense to use on computer monitors to me (but it sadly seems to be the new trend). The width to height ratio is way too high. This is actually 1/8th inch smaller height wise compared to my old 22". I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but I cannot get adjusted to it. I thought that a 1080 23.6" would be slightly taller than a 1050 22", even given the fact that is was 16:9, but no.. Newegg's measurement line in the picture is a little misleading, the viewing area itself is only 11.5" tall. For browsing and text work, this ratio is bad. Vertical comparison is better than horizontal comparison I need more height to view lines of code and stack windows. I also don't find it good for gaming, about the only thing 16:9 is good for is movies. Spend $100 more and get a 16:10 1920x1200 monitor!!

Good, with caveats

Pros: Matte screen, no awful reflections in bright rooms like most modern monitors. Good picture once it's set up well Good looking bezel and stand Good value No bad pixels
Cons: -The button interface is non-intuitive, you'll press the wrong button pretty often when adjusting it. -The height adjustment goes up from a normal level but not down, so I wasn't able to make it nearly as low as I wanted (my old monitor would drop all the way down). -The black level is pretty good, but does have some notable light leakage especially at the bottom. -The light leakage has a blue tint. -It was very difficult to find settings that gave proper image representation. It looked terrible out of the box and took quite a while to find the right settings. The dynamic contrast mode had to be disabled, it looked awful with it on.
Other Thoughts: One last comment I would make is that the aspect ratio is different from the 24" monitors, because it has fewer pixels in height (1080 vs 1280). This makes it very wide in comparison to others you may be looking at.
A good product overall, and though I listed many cons, I am actually happy with the purchase. If I were to do it over again, I would buy a monitor that was slightly larger though. This one wasn't as tall as I expect it to be because of the aspect ratio.

Pros: Awesome price, great picture and gaming performance. Love the various ways to can adjust the monitor height/swivel/tilt. Lots of features and supports HDMI. I honestly can't even tell where the speakers are and that always irritated me about some TV/Monitors when they just stuck some speakers on the side.
Cons: Default settings are a little bright. I reduced the brightness by 20 and set the mode to Theater.
Glossy piano black finish shows smudges easily.
Other Thoughts: Replaced a Dell 2001FP and Acer AL1916 with these. I wanted the full 1080p resolution and it's nice to have matching monitors.
