Great Productivity Mouse
- Pros: Great signal in the wireless, nifty light effects on the battery, power switch is a plus, fantastic design for the hand, great scroll wheel with switching modes and heavy so it rolls awhile in free scroll mode.
- Cons: Can't always have center mouse button, BUT it is possible, see below.
- Other Thoughts: Let's put to rest some of these cons that people can't figure out. First off, the setpoint software has never given me any problems. Probably doesn't like computers with all the stupid download managers, toolbars and other spyware and adware programs. Setpoint is great and nearly flawless. Second, This mouse does not skip nor is the resolution low, it is the surface that would cause it to do that, get a nice mouse pad and you won't have any problems. This is a problem with all optical and laser mice. On that same note, it does not jump with the right surface underneath so gaming should not be a problem. As for the battery, people just don't know how to use rechargeables. If you let it get low before sticking it on the charger then it actually does pretty well. Mine will last me over a week before I have to charge it again, and I use it a lot. As for the center button, you can have it, use set point to disable manual scroll mode switching.
Picky about mousepad
- Pros: Quite comfortable, button layout is very useful. Optional free-spinning scroll wheel is very handy when the time comes that you find yourself in need of one.
- Cons: Very, Very, VERY picky about the surface it's used on. Hates the top of my desk, hates regular mousepads, hates even the famed Mouse Rug. Loves the top of my computer case. w/e. Winamp seems to habitually ignore the window switching function of the thumb rocker, but that's Winamp, not the mouse.
- Other Thoughts: SetPoint == garbage. Always has, always will. Install it, then install uberOptions...you'll thank yourself. And to all the people who are having tracking issues, jumpy pointer and whatnot, invest in a decent mousepad, it makes all the difference...99% of the jumpiness was eliminated when I started using a RocketFish pad. Wish the battery LED's were other than lymon-green-yellow, but that's just me being picky.

Love it
- Pros: It is everything I imagined. As a gamer from classics such as diablo II to new games like mass effect it is outstanding. It is extremely smooth and always accurate, was worried it would not be as good as a wired mouse for fps games. The charge lasts me all day long. Whats really cool is you can push down the scroll and it will switch from bumpy to really smooth. It has all the extra buttons a pro gamer would want. Its just an amazing mouse.

- Other Thoughts: I have wanted this mouse since the day it came out and finally gave it a try. I wish I bought it the first time I seen it.
