Pros: Great trackball design. Every trackball is a little different with the ways the buttons are arranged and everything, and this one's design is perfect. I can move the ball with my first two fingers and push buttons with my thumb and ring finger without moving. I use mine in linux with no problems. X lets you configure it so that you can scroll by holding down the small left button and moving the ball up and down. I love it!!!

Cons: Little sticky at first, like all trackballs. The ball has to have a chance to be thoroughly coated in your skin oils before it becomes super smooth. Lube up them balls! Other than that, no cons.

Other Thoughts: Trackballs take a little while to get used to, but if you honestly give them a try, you should not be disappointed.

Ended Carpal Tunnel Pain

Pros: Designed for natural movement of the hand. It takes some time to get used to but after a week you will never go back. My carpal tunnel and tendonitis in my right arm was so painful I could barely sleep at night or do my work on a help desk. Switching to the Marble Mouse cured my pain in a little over a week and have been using it for 2 years now.

Cons: Nice if they were to develop a cordless/rechargable version.

Other Thoughts: No Moving parts to break!

High bang for the buck

Pros: Simple design and layout.
Large ball so not much movement required.
Funny to watch friends try to pick it up or drag it around like a normal mouse.
Symmetrical.
Can just keep your hand still, no need to move it all over the desk. Much more civilized.
Good value, you can spend a lot more on a mouse and not really have much benefit over this.

Cons: Can take time to adjust to. My fingers were uncomfortable for a while when I first got it but they've adjusted.
Software is hokey.
Does require some maintenance but it's a 5 second job to clean the little rollers inside.

Other Thoughts: Solid device for a good price. Worried about the lack of a scroll wheel? Don't be.
Go to http://simans.net/marble/ and download this simple yet great program that makes scrolling easy with only one button click, and the button still works at its normal function also when not scrolling.

It appears there is a newer version of this 'mouse' but the differences appear cosmetic only. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104249

Pros: This is a great mouse. I have used this series mouse since it came out and will never go to another mouse as long as i can buy this one. I own at least 5 of them.

Cons: Sensor gets dirty frequently.

Other Thoughts: Wish Logitech would create a gaming style mouse with a center small style trackball.

The best mouse that's not a mouse

Pros: This is the best trackball on the market for the casual user. My wife likes to be on her laptop in the living room and doesn't have space for a mouse (also doesn't like the touchpad) so I got her this and it fits on the arm of the chair and performs perfectly.

Cons: None.
