Logitech took its classic optical mouse and made it even better. How? By improving both its shape and its performance. The Logitech Optical Mouse features the world's best-selling optical technology for incredibly smooth tracking with no maintenance necessary. Scrolling is quick and precise too, thanks to the new scroll wheel. Unlike standard mechanical scroll wheels, this wheel is based on an optical system for improved feel and precision. 4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very responsive, smooth gliding, buttons feel solid, wheel works well. Fills a need.

Cons: Sometimes the mouse icon will jump across the screen whenever I'm doing anything. First thought it was something wrong on my comp, but a friend has the mouse to and his does the same thing. What can you expect for such a cheap mouse.

Other Thoughts: Cheapest USB optical mouse you can get.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful consumer mouse

Pros: The price has been about the same on this mouse for years; it's made for low-end consumers who don't do precision picture editing, hardcore gaming, and such. This is the kind of present I give to family members who hate their analog mice but don't have a clue where or how to get a new one.

Cons: I wouldn't call it not performing well under heavy gaming a con since it's not built to do that. It's like saying a moped sucks for not being able to haul a boat.

Other Thoughts: Look no further for casual computer use.

1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: Its black.

Cons: Mouse jumps to corner for no reason. You need a Optical Mouse pad to fix this problem. Light on bottom of mouse does not dim when you pick it up like it should.

Other Thoughts: waste of money.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Mouse!!!

Pros: It has a great feel, the buttons are easy to press, and you can scroll up and down on the knob with out it clicking on you (happened on games on my old mouse)

Cons: The only reason it gets 4/5 eggs from me is because every now and then the cursour will start drifting acrost my screen on me, or it will randomly turn off and on (not that big of a deal, but in games, those 3 or 4 seconds is life)

Other Thoughts: great for internet, and office apps, but only so-so on gaming, if you want a good gaming mouse, expect to pay double of what this costs.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't Settle for Less

Pros: Cost-effective, sleek and simple, and requires no drivers your system doesn't already have.

Cons: Just plain cheap; poor construction. The sensor is also no good for precise movement.

Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse for the price, but that was a mistake. You get what you pay for, and what I got is a mouse that mouse that is weak as it is light. During operations in programs like Adobe Photoshop, which require the user to sometimes move the cursor a very small distance very slowly, this mouse's sensor can't handle it, and it jumps around the place.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Mouse from Logitech!

Pros: Its very nice, it gets the job done for what you want to do on your computer anywhere from office documents, to college homework, and yes even a little bit of Unreal Tournament here and there! Even works great on a surface without a mouse pad. I have not encountered any of the problems that some reviewers have had using this product. Oh and USB Support is great too since I do not have a PS/2 port on my new computer tower from another company.

Cons: I do not have any issues really.

Other Thoughts: This mouse was well worth the money. It replaced a failed Microsoft Laser Mouse for which I did not have the money at the time to replace so I was looking for a temporary fix and this gets the job done.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cheap Mouse

Pros: This mouse is great. It cradles in my hand, and is plenty speedy enough for gaming. I do game with this mouse and it works flawlessly, with the correct drivers, which can be downloaded on logitech.com, this mouse can be very sensitive, or very unsensitive...

Cons: None really, besides the clicking is a bit loud, but you will get over it very quickly, it's really no big deal, not even a real con...

Other Thoughts: If you want a cheap, good mouse get this one!!!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mouse!

Pros: If you haven't been spoiled by a laser mouse yet, get this mouse! I've owned one for over a year and buying a second. It's inexpensive and works great.

It's great for gaming too, I've used it to play all kind of FPS and RTS games. This mouse is worth every penny, make sure you match it with a nice mouse pad.

Cons: None really, It would sometimes loose track and jump over the screen. I bought an optical mouse pad and that fixed it, rarely happens now.
