5 out of 5 eggsLogitech G7

Pros: I am actually using this mouse here at my work. I bought this mouse about 5 years ago to game with. While I stuck mainly to FPS games, I only gamed on PC for a couple years. It was by far my most favorite mouse. After I was pretty much done gaming and using desktop computers at that, this mouse went into a box and I forgot about it. I recently bought Logitech's new mouse, Performance MX and it seems to be loosely made compared to what I remember the old G7 used to feel like. I have the free mouse at my work that comes with the computer and it hurt my hand. I remembered I had the old G7 so I finally found it and instantly remembered why this was my favorite mouse. I just placed an order for 2 generic batteries off another website so I can regain the longevity of it again. Other than that, I just cleaned the mouse up and it's like brand new again. The buttons sound like clicks instead of clacks. I cannot believe this thing is over 5 years old. I've seen the price of this since it's discontinued has went over $300 in some places.

Cons: No cons.

5 out of 5 eggsJust right.

Pros: Very comfortable, very cool design. Love the batteries and the charger.

Other Thoughts: Buy this mouse, you'll love it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse with great support

Pros: - Very comfortable (for right handed) with a nice grip
- Anti-slip/sweat grip
- 2000 dpi with fast change between cursor speed
- Precise mechanical wheel
- Absolute zero lag
- Awesome service from Logitech

Cons: - Bought it right before the G9 got out
- Gotta change batteries once in a while, which sucks during the middle of a CODMW or WIC game

Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse about 3-4 years ago (the first model with gray and green). Pads on this older version got ripped apart in the first six months, so I sent it back to Logitech, only to find out they shipped me the newest version of that very mouse, which obviously impressed me (and incited me to buy one of their sound systems + keyboard)

I really don't understand why people keep complaining about this mouse when it's probably a hardware or compatibility issue with their system.
Having greatly appreciated this mouse, I even gave it as a present to a few of my friends and all four are still using it today flawlessly.
Even if you're not an avid gamer, this mouse's comfort is good enough to consider it as a mouse to use at your work place

5 out of 5 eggsG7 rocks PERIOD!!!

Pros: Ok so I owned the g9 the mx 518 and the sidewinder from microsoft , the g9 is really good no lie and the mx 518 was great because of how comfortable it was. But the G7 is great for both lvls its extremely comfortable it doesn't lag when you move it, its battery life is superb and it comes with 2 rechargeable batterys. The performance is top notch ive always owned logitech for all my gaming gear and i will tell you this one is extremely well build. Comfortable and Performance and WIRELESS in one great mouse with no issues!!

Cons: wish the dpi went higher then 2000 :(

Other Thoughts: I play HoN, DoTa, Borderlands, LoL, TF2, Crysis, and it all works GREAT WITH THIS MOUSE!!!

1 out of 5 eggsWorse mouse ever

Pros: when it works, it works great. battery swapping is handy also

Cons: just stops responding for no reason, have to sit there and wait for it to sync back up. called logitech "tech" support 3 or 4 times and every time they gave me the run around and never did get the issue fixed. never had a problem with logitech until i bought this thing.

2 out of 5 eggsBeware

Pros: Feels very nice. Very nice user interface and very customizable. very responsive

Cons: Only after a month of having it, it broke down. It would click and scroll just fine but it would not move the cursor at all.

Other Thoughts: I have done some investigating and this particular mouse has been known to break down like mine has. It would be an excellent mouse if it was more reliable, get it at your own risk
