4 out of 5 eggsYou Can Turn It Off

Pros: Very nice portable mouse, whether for a laptop or to take along for use anywhere. As mouses go, average to above average IMO. Storage spot for the dongle is a good idea.

Cons: Not the finest mouse out there, but it is not supposed to be. Yes, the dongle could be smaller, but then it is more easily lost or overlooked. I must agree it is somewhat awkward protruding from the side of a laptop and could be bumped in a tight working environment, perhaps causing damage. Whether or not it bothers you is a personal thing, and may depend upon where the USB ports on your laptop are located.

Other Thoughts: It IS possible to turn this mouse off without inserting the dongle (USB transmitter/receiver) into the storage space on the bottom. If you look closely at the underside of the mouse, on the left side of the indentation for the dongle is a tiny rectangular button that is pushed in when the dongle is inserted into its storage space. If you press the button in with your finger and hold it there for several seconds, the mouse will shut off, since you just simulated inserting the dongle. To turn on again, simply press the button in and release, done. Or just click the mouse and it will wake up too. Once you do this, you'll think.... Duh!... just as I did.

5 out of 5 eggsNetbook must have

Pros: Does everthing a mouse is supposed to do, and instantly connects each time.

Cons: Receiver could be a little smaller, no thumb <enter or double click> button, neither a big issue though.

Other Thoughts: Just the right size for Netbook for persons with larger hands, and it's priced right.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Works great, small 'n cute, great laptop cordless mouse.

Cons: A bit small for big hands.

Other Thoughts: I stopped thinking about it after the first five minutes. In other words, it's doing everything it should do and causing no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Amazing

Pros: IT LASTS - owned it for waaaaay more than a year so its pretty durable.

Battery is excellent, at first I used a rechargeable batt. thinking I will otherwise have to buy a new one every 2 weeks or every month, however, it really did last about 6 months, perhaps even more.

It fits great in hand, and is rubberized for a better grip.

Snap in USB receiver. (conserves battery and keeps parts together)

Cons: It has a regular USB receiver, and while it does snap in so it doesn't get lost, its still not a MICRO USB receiver. Those things are awesome and harder to break.

Other Thoughts: Price is cheap, but it is not a cheaply made mouse, and it is a good gaming mouse(no lag), handles great on almost any surface except glass, and certain glossy/shiny surfaces.

This mouse survived for more than a year taking frequent trips to the floor from as high as 5 foot drops, and successfully came out alive after being repeatedly thrown inside a backpack full of heavy books and thrown around the classroom with no mercy, if u ask me, i think its pretty good if it has not broken so far. I wish it did already so i can get a new one. =P

Got mine somewhere else before I even knew of NewEgg (W*l*m*rt), however Newegg is the best place to buy anything electronics wise. Saves lots of money, and theres a whole lot to chose from, its better than going to any retail store, and everything u buy is tax free =)

2 out of 5 eggsGood at first now i wipe my behind with it.

Pros: Good battery life and worked nicely until....

Cons: the USB receiver stopped working entirely (Error...One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned). Not my USB ports..tried it back in my HP notebook originally used (worked for 5 months then nothing now). Tried it in my Dell notebook and gaming rig...nothing...I kept it safe and protected but now its TP for my bum.

Other Thoughts: Search the web on this mouse shows mostly problems...STAY AWAY and stick with reliable Logitech or Verbatim with nano receivers. Sending in for MS warranty but not sure i want another.

3 out of 5 eggsNot good as expected

Pros: cheap, shape fits hand well, light weight, use one battery only

Cons: no off button. cannot turn off the mouse unless you unplug the receiver from computer!
connection is not as good as expected, this means sometimes the mouse stops working properly for couple of seconds, but this situation is rare

Other Thoughts: i own another wireless mouse logitech v550 nano. it has been working fantastic. so i generally have a high expectation to wireless mice.

this mouse was bought for my parents. i though they would need a basic mouse, so i chose this one. however the low end mouse had problems like connection lost that they cannot handle. then i decided to keep it myself as the same problem causes less frustration to me.

i will stick to logitech higher ends next time. at least the v550 nano offers auto turn off feature which is a must to me but apparently not available on all wireless mice
