5 out of 5 eggsGood mouse

Pros: Came with batteries.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Got it for a friend who was fixing up a computer for his son. He liked it so much he wanted another one for himself, so I ordered him one also.

2 out of 5 eggsHUGE dongle

Pros: Good feel in hand, nice size (not compact).

Cons: The USB dongle for this thing is huge and sticks out over 2 inches from the USB port. If you only have USB ports on the right side of your laptop (provided you are right-handed), the USB dongle will get in your way. I bought this without inspecting the pictures first, oops. I've got a "nano-mouse" from another manufacturer with a dongle that sticks out less than a quarter inch, and that is kind of what I expected from Microsoft. I think their point of the big size was to prevent loss of the dongle. Probably a good thing for the customer this is going to, so I won't bother to return it.

2 out of 5 eggsHeadache

Pros: Feels good, compact, no issues connecting to PC.

Cons: Scroll wheel broke after about two months. No abuse, but it's spinning without registering. Microsoft's support website allowed me to step through a five page support request, before informing me that it wasn't working.

Other Thoughts: Now I have to call them.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works as it should.Craftsmanship seems good. Works at least 6 ft away for me. I have not tried further.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice if it came with a little note saying it needed AA battery along with how to install...It took a few minutes to figure it out

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible, Terrible, Terrible

Pros: It works, sort of

Cons: If the transmitter and mouse are more than 2 feet apart, it won't work correctly. With my USB port on the rear of my computer, it means that it is useless and the cost to return means I'm suck with 2 of them

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Great little mouse. Put one almost dead AA battery in it a month ago and its still kicking. Caught it on sale as a shell shocker so no complaints on price! Having the receiver sit in the bottom is very convenient because it would get lost in the mess that is my bag otherwise. Red light is fun to blind people with in class :)

Cons: Kind of an awkward shape/size in your hand, but it doesn't bother me really. Just have to get used to it a little. Being a cheap optical mouse, the resolution isn't very great aka its not very accurate. Then again, I just bought it for my little netbook and that isn't really a concern. In other words, don't expect this to serve your gaming needs well.

Other Thoughts: On my desktop I use a Log* G7 wireless laser mouse... its motions are much smoother and it feels much better in the hand, not to mention feels a little more robust. On the flipside, I bought this little mouse just to use on the go with my netbook, and it fulfills every need I have for a small wireless mouse, so it gets 5 eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsGood But The One Received Was In BULK Packaging

Pros: - It's a good wireless mouse.

Cons: - Mine came in BULK packaging NOT OEM. Not too sure if this was just me but a tiny bit disappointing none the less. Just the mouse in a plastic bag and the package was actually open with the mouse hanging on for dear life to the sticky closure tab on the padded envelope. Otherwise it comes with a setup page and I believe a battery as well.

Other Thoughts: It's a good functional wireless mouse at a decent price. And despite it mine being in BULK packaging it is actually still a decent deal at the price I got it for.
