Great Headset
- Pros: - Comfortable once you become accustomed to their presence. Trust me on this, I often forget I'm even wearing them, even after hours of continuous use.
- Great speaker quality, both for music and directional audio in games. The first time I used these I thought I had forgotten to unplug my speaker system.
- Sturdy. I don't know what others are talking about when they say these are easy to break, perhaps they are TRYING to break them? These have lasted far longer than any other set I've used. In fact they have out-lived two sets of computer speakers.
- Crisp clear audio recording.
- Cons: - The mic, while clear, isn't particularly loud and may require a software decibel boost for some applications.
- These things can actually be quite painful the first few times you wear them. If you do not plan to use them regularly, find another pair. (note- as stated in the pros, once you become accustomed to the weight of these on your ears, and you WILL if you give them a few days, they will no longer be painful and will become perhaps the most comfortable headphones out there)
- Other Thoughts: Firstly, They aren't exactly obvious in terms of how you are supposed to actually wear them... at least not to my friends or some people I've seen reviewing these as being too small for their heads. The band goes BEHIND your head, not above it, and the padding is meant to surround your ears and use them to keep the speakers suspended, the mic is vertically adjustable, it has a swivel joint where it attach to the headset, do not try to bend it.
Note: I've owned the slightly older version of these (only difference is the lack of blue paint and a more dated looking package) for 3+ years now and they are just today starting to have issues (when the cord is in a certain angle the sound cuts out). Tomorrow I will buy a new set of these from a local store as I can't be bothered with shipping for something that is locally available for the same price.
I would highly suggest these to anyone who plans to use them regularly, providing they are willing to overcome the first few days.
Good
- Pros: It's a good headset. The sound is decent and the headset itself is comfortable. Mic quality is good, you can test your mic and see for yourself (i.e. Ventrilo, Sound Recorder) It lasts for a long time, if you maintain it.
- Cons: I've had to glue one of the "Logitech logo's" on the right that kept on falling off. I dropped it a few times and it didn't mess with the sound or anything, it caused the right ear piece to fall off, that was also glued back on.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, you get what you pay for (A good Logitech headset). I'm looking to buy a newer headset in the near future, preferably a Steelseries.

Good quality
- Pros: I have had these headphones for a few months now and they have proved to be good quality for sound and very comfortable on my head even after hours of gaming. The ear holes in the side of them give good ventilation also. My friends can hear my voice clearly when were on WoW.
- Cons: My first pair that came were DOA so I had to return it for another pair which worked.
- Other Thoughts: Recomend buying them again
My 2 cents
- Pros: I needed a headset bad...I surfed Newegg and went with this since it had a very good price. The microphone on my exact same last pair finally quit. The previous headset was of decent quality and thats why I decided to go with it again. It has decent bass, and noise isolation while not making your ears sweat. Sometimes I simply wrap it around my neck which permits me to hear my kids when we are playing online. Connection cable is super long alonging me to route it around my PC or recline and watch a movie.
- Cons: Can not handle my abuse/temper :)
- Other Thoughts: Please bare in mind, my last exact same pair was highly abused. This company makes excellent(4 egg or star) products versus price but you get what you pay for. Someday I will step up to nicer set.
Excellent for a few days
- Pros: Clear sound with good bass. Very comfortable.
- Cons: The noise cancellation was non-existent from day 1. People I talked with would complain about a "helicopter noise" which I later concluded was my Antec Skeleton's top fan. I can barely hear the fan sitting in the same room but the mic picked it up a bit too well. Also after about a week I started noticing problems with the right speaker and then about 3 weeks in I started noticing problems with the left speaker. The sound would just cut out and I would have to manipulate the cord into new positions to have sound come through. Now, after four months, I have to wrap the cord around the headband 9 times (8 and 10 don't work) and then duct tape in in place every few days to get the headset to work.
- Other Thoughts: I attempted to contact Logitech three times regarding this issue and all three times I was transferred multiple times and put on hold for hours. I have little reason to believe that Logitech is willing to admit to this serious design flaw.
