Cheap, but you get what you pay for.
- Pros: This camera gets a decent picture for its cost.
It's also very cheap. And apparently it works in Linux, which is good!
- Cons: The microphone is DREADFUL. It sounds like ear sodomy to everyone I talk to. I am working on getting a headset to fix this problem, but JEEZ.
The clip is also awfully big and it covers up a small portion of my monitor.
- Other Thoughts: The magnetic dock is both very cool and very annoying. The camera sometimes falls off but I like the way it can be turned around and such.

It Just Works (tm)
- Pros: Plugged it in and it just worked. Started using it after literally fifteen seconds. That is the way Linux is. Using mainly Kubuntu 9.04. Also Fedora 10, Debian Lenny, Ubuntu 8.10. (multiple boot computer) Takes decent stills and video. For the price, it cannot be beat. Works in Windows too.
- Cons: Framerate on high resolution is pretty bad, but this is my first webcam so this may be normal for a USB connection. Had to put in the cd and install the drivers then reboot the machine in XP. Then I had to do all that again for Vista. Would not work otherwise.
- Other Thoughts: Can't wait for USB 3, the framerate will be better. Will be available for use in the Linux kernel around September 2009. Hope there is hardware on the market by that time.
Wonderful
- Pros: Works perfect with Linux 9.04 using aMSN.
- Cons: Pop up USB notice doesn't come up saying cam installed. Didn't know it was working
- Other Thoughts: More Docs would help
