Pros: This is the second one i have owned because my previous one broke when it fell from my desk and i stepped on it :/... Excellent sound, soft foam earpieces fit snug but r comfortable, and the mic works well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Buy this, it wont disappoint.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Worked right out of the package.

Cons: Mic is really horrible according to every one who hears me on Teamspeak 2/3 Vent, or Mohawk.

Other Thoughts: I bought this head set as a temp replacement for my ABS while they were RMA. I would not use these on a regular basis

Pros: * Excellent recording and sound quality.

* Comfy once broken in (took about a week). Like the cushion at the top. Doesn't irritate me while wearing glasses.

* I'm not a sound connoisseur, but for my part I can say that the bass is very rich 'hum', and the highs are crystal clear. Great range.

* Long cable. Gives me routing opportunities.

* Inline volume/mic controls. The clip is attached, so its not a shoddy one that will eventually fall off the wire.

Cons: *A bit tight at first.

* While not totally chinzy, they're somewhat light. Normal use won't harm them, but make use of that 8 ft. cable and route the wire behind your desk so you won't sit on, step on or trip over them. I doubt they'll survive that kind of abuse.

* I would like to see a metal brace where the wire enters the headset, the most common site of headset damage.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Sound quality
Microphone volume
Ear comfort

Cons: Build quality
Ear cup size
On/Off switch in an annoying location on the cable

Other Thoughts: I've only had these for a week but so far they have been great.

As others have mentioned, the build quality is pretty low. I'm not sure if they were designed to be "light weight" or just inexpensive.

Regardless, the sound quality is above average, and audio levels are decent from the microphone. Takes no time to set up, and was seemingly compatible with every game I tried. If you can find them on sale, it's definitely worth investing $30-$40 in, but I wouldn't say they were worth the full retail price, if not due to build quality alone.

Comfort-wise, they fit my small head well, the ear cushions are small but soft so I can imagine it fitting larger ears despite being small.

I hope these last for at least a year, but I'm guessing they will fall apart by then.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Headset for Gaming

Pros: These headsets are extremely comfortable, adjustable and they have good sound quality. The microphone is removable.

Cons: The cable is on the left of the headset, gets in the way sometimes. Hard to hear enemies in front/behind you when you are playing FPS games.

Other Thoughts: Good headset overall, I got it for $10 :D

1 out of 5 eggsavoid this product (more information)

Pros: design

Cons: durability

Other Thoughts: I have just used 1 hour trying to return my headset (where the microphone mow works intermittently after one month of use) but Creative's warranty support does not answer telephone calls and their web site requires a serial number and product number which I do not have because I didn't save the box. Based on Creative's warranty service, I deduct my one egg and now give the product zero. Avoid this product.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid this headset

Pros: nice design. Comfortable.

Cons: The headset has developed a fault for the microphone (inside the left side where the single black mic and audio cable enters the headset) despite relatively little use since purchase from the egg on June 27-- now, it has intermitent mic input (audio sound works fine). Bought for use with Skype, now useless. Replacing them with a second Plantronics headset from Walmart -- much better quality.

Other Thoughts: Bought these from the egg for $29.99 with a $20 rebate (if it arrives). Now I know why Creative was closing them out -- apparent poor build quality or design defect.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: For the money, it's hard to beat. Decent sound/mic quality, comfortable for long gaming sessions. I've had this for a couple years now, and it's held up to repeated cat attacks.

Cons: I would prefer the flexible mic boom to be more rigid or to be able to swing up out of the way (it is removable, though).
