2 out of 5 eggsCould be MUCH better

Pros: Decent sound. Well priced for the sound quality you get.

Cons: Very poor construction. For a "folding" headset, the cables are NOT CAPABLE of being used as such.

Quality does not match price. I would expect these to be another 20 dollars cheaper for the build quality issues.

Cables tore at the jacket away from a stress or fixed point. Internal copper wires were then exposed and eventually broke.

Build quality and materials: POOR to MARGINAL

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend these headphones if you plan on using them as portable headphones. If you are going to NEVER FOLD THEM or hang them up, you may still only expect marginal durability.

If you want decent sound and won't use these as truly portable headphones, they are well priced.

If you are weighing durability heavily into your purchase, these would will not last too long and you will be purchasing again before you have gotten your money's worth out of them.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Nice fitting on the head-piece, great sound.

Cons: The anti-sound bit is a little big (like a cigar), but fits nicely on the belt so not a real criticism.

Other Thoughts: The overall quality of the Sennheiser products I have bought is Excellent, you wont go wrong with these.

4 out of 5 eggsDainty Coolness

Pros: Amazingly lightweight! Clip on the sound canceler seems very sturdy. The sound cancellation was able to cancel out the noise of the highway in the distance at my apartment.

I like the stick. It was a good way for me not to run over the cables with my computer chair. I just connected it to my pocket and it gave enough length to connect to the computer and stay off the ground.

Cons: So I looked at the picture and I didn't realize that the ear muffs were so small! It's fine because the head set seems pretty flexible, and the muffs are leather-like and comfortable, like two little pillows.

*The Big Issue*
It went mono! The right ear piece played no sound until I turned on the noise canceler. It was very odd. After I turned the noise canceler off, the sound worked in both ears again! I'm debating getting a return because this could be a major problem in the future if it happens again.

Other Thoughts: My boyfriend is a DJ and owns studio quality headphones and I let him test the product for me. I think they are pretty good but the power of these comes from the noise canceling stick.

3 out of 5 eggsnot quite what i expected

Pros: very good-quality headphones

Cons: comes with this annoyingly heavy "stick" in the middle of the wire to control the noise canceling feature..

Other Thoughts: gave it to my gf, she's also annoyed by it, but uses it regularly anyway..

4 out of 5 eggsThe Active Noise Canceling Worked Well

Pros: Took a 3 hour flight with it on and had experienced the most pleasant audio from the sound source, and none of the noise from the surrounding environment. It's light weight and comfortable designed truly made it worthwhile to own.

Cons: The controller having a tubular dimension of 5.25' & 0.875' can be cumbersome.

Other Thoughts: The cord seemed a bit flimsy thus questionable on its durability. The head set cord can be shorten by about 10”, and still leave enough for the wearer to move freely. This shorter length can rid the worry of getting tangle, plus not being an obstruction.

4 out of 5 eggsbeware of the huge noise canceling module

Pros: -Noise canceling is pretty good for its size, took out most of my fan noise
-Sound quality at mid-range very good

Cons: -The NC unit is HUGE, originally I wanted to use this for my MP3 player. That thing is 3 three times the size of my MP3 player
-Annoying muffling sound with NC on
-NC actually does worse job than the passive isolation on my HD280
-Base is pretty not strong enough, I can hardly hear the drums

Other Thoughts: Got this thing for free with a combo deal with the HD280. well, can't argue too much too for free stuff. As a side note, the NC is actually better than RCA full size ones I tried before.

3 out of 5 eggsliked them but a quality and comfort comrpomised

Pros: Got these for a good price with the rebate which came in a month. I use these traveling on the bus when people are talking loud and the motor noise really bothers me. I think these do the job but do not block all the noise that comes in.

They serve as a great starter noise canceling earphone to judge if you want to fork over bigger money to upgrade.

Cons: Quality of the outside lining on the earphone is cheap and will peel off in a year's time. Also, the plastic construction of the unit seems flimsy but serves the purpose.

Other Thoughts: Buy these if you want medium quality sound and noise canceling for portion of the price. Definitely, having these are better than nothing.

4 out of 5 eggsGood headphones at a gret price

Pros: For the money (utilized the $25 trade-in rebate), they are a good set of headphones.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Hoping to use them with my refurbed Sansa e280 I just ordered from NewEgg last week.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: These headphones are very comfortable (I don't wear headphones unless I have to, I don't care for them), lightweight, sound great and do in fact cancel background noise. When my office mate gets on the phone, out come the Sennheisers.

Cons: None to speak of. They do use batteries, but I don't know what the battery life will be.
