Lightweight and versatile, the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset is your wireless headset solution in and out of the office. The 510's Multipoint Technology lets you connect to two separate Bluetooth audio devices--mobile phone, PDA, computer--and seamlessly switch between them.
With the headset's electronics placed behind the ear and a boom-style, noise-canceling microphone extended to the front, the design provides all-day comfort and clearer voice transmission. It also folds to a compact size to fit in your pocket.
A single button handles answering and ending call as well as last number redial and voice-activated dialing. Volume controls on the back of the ear piece raises, lowers, and mutes your call audio. A single charge can give you a continuous talk time of up to six hours and a standby time up to 100 hours.

A great choice for Skype use
- Pros: As an engineer, I'm quite critical of a lot of technology, but I love the Voyager 510 headset. I bought it for use with Skype and my computer, and it works fantastic (more than 60 foot range with TRENDnet TBW-104UB Bluetooth USB adapter). Once accustomed to it, it is easy to forget you have it on. It securely stays put on my ear. Sound quality, both listening and speaking, is excellent.
- Cons: Bright blue flashing LED makes it very conspicuous in public, although it is useful to remind you that it's powered on. Since it has up to 100 hours of standby time, you can avoid the power button difficulties by leaving it in standby during the time you might use it. Mute can be difficult, though.
- Other Thoughts: If you are buying the Voyager 510 for use with a computer, and need a Bluetooth USB adapter, I highly recommend the new TRENDnet TBW-104UB with Bluetooth 2 and USB 2 (which Newegg should have soon). It has an adjustable external antenna, and even comes with a USB extension cable so you can position the transceiver for optimum effectiveness. I'm getting more than 60 foot range. This combo works great with Skype.
Very Cool Bluetooth Headset
- Pros: Excellent design. The volume control, on/off button, and call/disconnect are designed well. Audio quality in/out is excellent. Very comfortable and ergonomic. You forget you're wearing it after a while. The rechargeable built-in battery w/ wall charger is handy.
- Cons: Noise cancelling feature is questionable as it picks up ambient background noise fairly easily. The on/off button above the volume control is a royal pain to push and hold to turn set on/off. Feels like it is going to break. The blinking blue LED to indicate the unit is powered on is neat, but annoying when you're driving at night or in a dark room. It's bright! Nothing a small piece of electrical tape can't fix, though.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, this is an excellent device. I think it could use a little tweaking on the noise cancelling feature and the on/off button needs to be redesigned, but in all it works quite well. I'd say it's better than the majority of the BlueTooth sets out there.

One of the best
- Pros: Very clear unlike Motorola.
Doesn't hurt the ear drum if you leave it on. Won't fall off your ear if you accentially hit it with your hand. Can be use with your home phone with additional accessory (it will cost you over $xxx)
- Cons: It's a bit big, they could make it smaller.
Harder to hook on to your ear, but stays on once it's there.
- Other Thoughts: The volume and power buttons are hard to press. You have to just get use to it. You won't use the volume buttons often at all.
Overall, it's the best that I have used. I am not the only one, my friends loved it too.
So simple.....
- Pros: Since this is my first bluetooth headset ever I found it VERY easy to pair with my new phone and to use.
- Cons: None so far.
Works great
- Pros: I have a Verizon RAZR, V3c (the first gen Verizon RAZR w/ dark grey finish). Works great after I got the firmware for the phone updated at the store a while after having the phone. Range, battery life, and sound quality are all excellent for the price. Most importantly for me, it's way more comfortable than other brands.
- Cons: Would constantly drop connection to my Moto RAZR V3c (1st gen Verizon version)and not reconnect unless I power cycled the phone... a real pain. Plantronics actually gave me a replacement to see if it was the headset and it still didn't help. However, once I got the firmware for the phone updated at the Verizon store , it now works near flawlessly, with only the occasional drop (even when that happens, it will reconnect w/ a touch of the button on the side of the headset).
