Pros: Quiet. Good price.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I replaced a customers older cd-rom in a DELL machine that was to noisy for her liking with this. She's happy. I'm happy. Always had good luck with LITE-ON. Every body's happy.

Pros: Bought this summer 2006 and it has not failed to read a dvd/cd that I have put in it. It even reads some of the discs that have been somewhat neglected...

Cons: Should have layed down an extra 10 or 15 bucks and got a dvd burner combo drive.

Other Thoughts: Well worth the money
