Pros: This drive is still burning anything and everything over a year later. Most dvd burners die pretty fast. With 100s of cds and dvds burned it's probably made only 1 or 2 coasters total.

Pros: Works really well. No coasters so far and I won't have any. Simple install and simple to use, obviously.

Cons: Wasn't a free drive

Other Thoughts: Use updated firmware for best results...burn at lower speeds for better data integrity. Use good software like Clone CD or DVD Decrypter.

Pros: Speed, my last burner was 4x, what a difference 16x speed makes!

No more audio jack on the front..cleaner look

Cons: I wish dvd/cd drive makers would go back to slot load (like in a car cd player) it is so much cleaner then tray load.
