Expensive Bad Burns With DL
- Pros: Great for a month.
- Cons: After a month with this product, it's started to give me bad burns with Dual Layer media. 4 in a row.
I burn DL almost 3 times a week 12 discs at a time, and as someone else mentioned, it probably does not like doing that very much.
- Other Thoughts: These things should not go bad because you use them everyday for a month.
different from any other drive!
- Pros: i've used so many disc drives & NOTHING can compare to this! SO quiet & fast, even the tray is quiet when loading.
- Cons: could've supplied a blank dvd disc or something
- Other Thoughts: i've had bad experiences especially with sony before, so i turned to other brands(i.e. LITEONs). somehow i ended up getting sony again this time. it's been a while since anything in the computer industry really blew my mind!
Hated it....
- Pros: Looked very nice, but....
- Cons: The burner would not work on my system. And when it did it burned soo slow. I switched my DMA to "DMA If availble" and it still stayed at P10. I RMA to get a new one thinking the old one was broken, but the replacement did the same thing. I got a refund.
- Other Thoughts: The booklet that came with it stated that my system was compatible. I instead picked up: DVD BURN ASUS|DRW-1608P3S RAM BG % - OEM from newegg and worked great right out of the box. Thanks Newegg for helping me through this process.
