works as intended and quiet
- Pros: silver color matches my case, reads & writes both CDs & DVDs, comes with Nero software, Lightscribe support, works in Linux out of the box, my BIOS recognizes it as a bootable drive
- Cons: had to reboot after Windows XP installed the drivers, in order for auto-run to work from a disk burned with an ISO image - everything else appeared to work without a reboot
- Other Thoughts: haven't tried Lightscribe yet, overall, a great device, and overall, much quieter than my former CD-RW drive
Can't complain
- Pros: Great price, does what it is supposed to do. What else can I say
