Pros: This drive works well out of the box. Burns ok, Lightscribe is a cool function that worked well.

Cons: leans to premature failure. I just sent off for my 3rd drive. first one stopped burning, second one, lightscribe failed first then drive failed to read discs.

Other Thoughts: I really don't have the time to constantly be sending drives in for warranty. I want them to work decently and have a reasonable life.
I am disappointed in asus. I expected better of them after owning other asus products.
if you want a reliable and steady drive, this isn't it.
