Pros: CHEAP, fast, good deal for someone who needs a DVDWR that is cheap.

Cons: No real cons - make sure to double check the master / slave jumper on the back of the drive prior to install - silly me I forgot to double check.

Other Thoughts: I wanted a cheap solution as a replacement for my old failing CDROM, I didn't even think of looking at dual layer burners. Oh well, this one was well worth it and works well!

Pros: none so far

Cons: This thing lasted about 2 minutes. Plugged it in smelled something burning then the circuit for the room popped.
Hopefully the exchanged one will work better.
