Pros: slim looks nice could fit in a portfolio laptop case

Cons: Doesn't turn on when connected to an Alienware m11x laptop so it's not going to work in a lot of smaller laptops probably.

Other Thoughts: I plugged the cord into both usb ports it still didn't power up. I suggest against risking this burner not working in your laptop.

I'm in the process of returning mine now.

Pros: Sleek, portable and fast.

Other Thoughts: Bought as a external burner for a g4 Titanium running OS 10.4, worked right away with no issues and no need for any drivers.

Pros: Works with my new Macbook Air 2.13 13" with no problems

Pros: Works great! No problems! Easy to use! Just plug the two USBs in their ports and your ready to play a computer game, watch movies, or listen to music!

Cons: Requires 2 USB ports. Get an external USB HUB extension for like $5-15 at newegg.com!

Pros: Worked straight out of the box with my 13.3 Toshiba T235 notebook and Win 7 (64). Only one USB port was required to power the burner for my model notebook. Plays DVD movies along with sound/audio just fine.
Burns DVDs for System Restore disks with no problems (had to make five disks - process went smoothly). YMMV with your particular model laptop/notebook.

Cons: Zero

Other Thoughts: Did not need to install any of the included software.

Pros: We bought this for my teenage daughter to go with her recent Dell mini. She did the install and without Dad's help...that alone was a great PRO....

Pros: Great looking device, pretty easy to use. Not too expensive

Cons: Slow burning/reading, Needs two seperate USB ports to work. The programs LG gives you for burning are not high quality at all, could not burn a data disk of a file that had more than a few sub directories. Also would fail a lot while burning close to a full audio CD. Could not to a copy of a CD from another drive.

Other Thoughts: Mainly using this to Copy CD's to distribute to other workers.

Pros: Worked out of the box. It originally was great. Used it with my old T30 and my netbook.

Cons: Only lasted a few months. Now it seems dead. Won't connect to netbook (Win7) or desktop (XP-Pro).

Pros: Nice and compact for my Emachine Netbook. Recognized the drive. Software installed okay.

Cons: Have to use 2 usb ports, and, left one usb for my mouse, leaving no usb ports open. Recommend an external usb device for more ports.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm impressed of how compact it is.
