Pros: Fast Drive with Matching Media. If you have a COMPATIBLE mobo, it's a great piece of equipment! (See my "other thoughts" below)

Cons: Small issue with drive door in that it "lugs" slightly coming out. Other than this, everything is fine. Lousy software bundle, but I use N**O anyway.

Other Thoughts: CHECK THE MOBO compatibility list. Look at everyone complaining abouit their drive not working in these reviews. My drive works fine with my EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel mobo even though it is not on the compatibility list. You might get lucky, you might not. Don't expect high writing speeds with low speed media (DUH).

Pros: High quality burning! For those of you interested in mastering audio and DVDs, this is a top-end professional burner with quality consistent with the Plextor name.

Cons: None.
