5 out of 5 eggsWOW

Comments: Just did my first bourderless 8.5x11 on priemium glossy paper of a very small scanned pic that I enlarged. All I can say is WOW. I am so floored at the quality of the photo print. I can't even think of any technical specs to spew out. I don't see any loss of picture quality at the edges of the printed pic.

Last printer I was swayed intoHP after being an avid epson fan. Epson I shall never leave you again.

Yes it did used a lot of ink, but I had it set at best print settings. Last 3 printers I had all sucked up the ink in high quality mode. But I don't care. Gimmie gimmie gimmie more fab pics.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Good prints. When using the Stick memory ports, better to use the software included. The built-in menu is a little confusing. The capacity of writing the pictures to a CD is great to pass along your pictures to friends or family or better to keep in storage your pictures

5 out of 5 eggsLove this Printer

Comments: I have had this printer for about 40 days and could not be happier. My ink levels are still over 55-60% full and I have printed 43 DVD's at photo quality, 27 4x6 prints at High Photo quality, 4 5x7 prints at High Photo, 2 8x10 at High Photo, and probably 40-50 regular document pages. Only took 1 try to align the DVD printing. And ink is not super expensive if you look around.

3 out of 5 eggsgreen is not gray

Comments: so good printer i guess, nice quality, the card reader is usefull, but dont try to print your black and white prints with this. i know it is a color printer but i guess i thought that black and white was a given. it prints black and green pics from black and white. also be ready to buy allot of ink cuse i can see the ink level go down when i print a pic

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding Printer

Comments: The Epson Stylus Photo R300 has been a real workhorse for me, for the past year. I just purchased my second one (gave the first to a friend). Without a doubt, it is the best printer I have ever owned. I use mine primarily for printing direct to DVD's and CD's. Which I have printed hundreds of. Setup and operation are very easy and I have not had to reference the thick (and very thorough) owners manual.

The included software is excellent for printing direct to CD's and DVD's, giving them a professional look. Photos also look as though they were processed professionally, when using photo paper (I use Kodak glossy paper).

I paid much more money last year and would still consider this printer a bargain at the old price. At the current price, it is nothing short of a steal. 5 out of 5 stars (again).

5 out of 5 eggsPHOTO QUALITY

Comments: Great printer. I bought this because my wife and I take a lot of pictures and mess with them in PHOTOSHOP. So, we wanted a HIGH quality printer. This printer has impressed both of us and we just love it. The quality is very very high, the same as a professional print.

We were bummed at first because we did not understand how to maximize the software for printing from the PC. Just play with the software and learn all the features. It gives you a lot of control.

Yes, ink does seem to be used up faster than I thought, but not too bad for the type of prints we are doing.

One of the main features we wanted was at least 6 colors of ink from the printer. The other was individual cartridges so that you replace the color you are out of, not all of the colors at once. This printer has both of these features.

So far, we love this printer. Very good buy. A lot of bang for the buck.
