Cons: DOES NOT COME WITH USB CABLE SO HAVE A EXTRA OR GET AN EXTRA!
Other Thoughts: really??? no usb cable???? WHOA! Not a big deal, its just the principle of the whole deal.

Pros: Nice design. Moderately fast. Really an excellent value for the price. The installation of the printer and drivers were a "no brainer". The user interface is extremely friendly. The quality of the prints are great. The actual printing process was very smooth and quiet. The flat bed scanner is a definate plus as opposed to MFPs that use a feed scanner. I really like the "index sheets" that it produces off the card reader: just mark what pics, size, and number of copies you want on the sheet and put on the scanner; hit print and it does the work for you!!!!
Cons: The "draft" setting produces copies that are totally unusable. It makes quite a bit of noise as it intially "grabs" the paper (but that is bearable). The ink cartridges are rather small in volume.
Other Thoughts: I really don't know what the other folks are talking about here when they complain about it being noisy and rattling their tables. The actually printing process is almost totally silent. Same with the ink useage: don't believe the complaints. The initial priming and a week's worth of use hasn't even used a measureable amount of ink. And: nothing comes with USB cables anymore so that doesn't rate as a compliant. Maybe some folks just need to whine. I started out using Epson printers and then switched to Brothers. Big mistake. I'm back with Epson forever. Since I run a computer business I will be recommending Epsons to all my customers from now on. Also Newegg is great to deal with as usual! Timely and affordable shipping, GREAT prices, and an excellent reputation! Still a happy customer!!!!
