Pros: Does what its supposed to do. Software is good and is very helpful. Software also saves tape compared to using it as a direct entry labeler. The variety of sizes, types, and styles of label tape make this one of the more flexible of the label printers currently offered.
Cons: Tape is fairly expensive.
Other Thoughts: Printing direct from the keyboard is both flexible and easy to accomplish. Printing from software is also easy and flexible. There are software plug-ins for Outlook to allow printing address labels without having to enter the information. There are two other plug-ins that I haven't utilized yet. I like it more than my PT-1280.

Pros: It does center alignment and bigger letters than the lower models of printers. Got to love the auto cut feature

Great Label Printer

Pros: I didn't realize this from the product info or from other reviews before my purchase, but when hooked up to a computer, you can use any font that is on your computer. You are not limited to the built-in fonts. You can also use your own graphics images.
Great editor software for use when connected to a PC.
Accepts a good variety of tape sizes.
Cons: Wastes a little bit a label when cutting, but there are options here to minimize the waste (read the manual).
Label refills are expensive.
Other Thoughts: Download the latest version of the P-Touch Editor software from Brother.
Excellent product. Very happy with my purchase.
I read the reviews on Newegg and other sites before buying this model. Based on the reviews, I was expecting a good, but not great product. It was a pleasant surprise to find that this product is much better than expected.
