5 out of 5 eggsGood, cheap card

Pros: This soundcard installed flawlessly and Windows installed the drivers right away without any issues. Sound is good, especially for trhe price. I used this card to fill in for the dead built-in soundcard on my motherboard and it's done the job well. Plenty of outputs for the price and what I use it for. Right now I'm using a headphone to RCA splitter to pipe the sound to my bigscreen TV and it works well.

Cons: None that I can think of. There are limited outputs, but that's to be expected for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card Never The Less

Pros: A great card, good sound, no tinny sound.

Cons: Sometimes kinda conflicting with a P3 motherboard.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card since I do no have onboard sound on my Gigabyte P3 board. But this card works good.

4 out of 5 eggsadequate

Pros: Good reliable sound card with very ordinary settings. Good for folks looking to upgrade from on-board audio.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It'a always a good idea to use a sound card, if nothing else it takes the load off of your CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card + software

Pros: The sound is fuller & richer than that provided by the motherboard chips. Was able to use my MXL battery-powered condenser mic with no problem. The software is packed with fun sound-massaging options.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I don't have an elaborate sound setup. I just bought the card because my mobo chips were distorting my mic input. The documentation is on the CD and is pretty good.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I have had this for over a year now, the sound is phenominal compared to onboard sound. When i play my games, it makes my windows shake

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: when it was first released it was over $110. Thats what i paid =/

5 out of 5 eggsThere Great!

Pros: Sure beats the pant's off of my onboard sound card. With the advance HD sound DVD’s sound more clearer and louder than ever before. My onboard sound card made games sound like an old 78 RMP record but not with sound card.. The HD sound make’s games come to life.

Cons: If I were to go back to using my motherboards onboard sound card it would sound like an old 112 year old recording compaire to this HD sound card.

Other Thoughts: It is well worth the price.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good sound

Pros: I keep reading that this is just okay sound no way this is very good rich sound. The people writting this stuff must have cheap speakers and arn't adjusting the sound quality because mine sounds fantastic.

Cons: None you cannot beat this card for the price and this card at 25 dollars blows away my audigy game by a mile. A two years ago that card was one hundred dollars. It also blows away my old on board sound. As always sound blaster is the best.

Other Thoughts: For the price and compatablity get this card.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat low end sound card

Pros: if you've never bought a sound c ard before then this is a welcome upgrade from onboard sound. it wount give you better frame rates in games, but it will make them sound alot better and richer. even if your not into playing games it will make listening to music or wtaching videos a whole lot better.

Cons: It does tend to get pretty hot, but im not sure if this a common thing for sound cards in general

1 out of 5 eggscrackling & overheating

Pros: Its better than onboard sound and it only goes into crackling sessions 15 times a day. Also it doubles as a heater. And also has not totally failed for 6 months.

Cons: Crackles, hums, and sometimes has a whiny high pitched sound. It worked good for the first 3 months. Is hot.

Other Thoughts: Ok have you ever heard of a sound card that overheats. I actually put a heat sink on it, once I did that is didnt crackle as often. But after about a hour or so of listening to itunes it starts to crackle. On time I put my hand on the heatsink and I couldn't touch it for more than 5 seconds. I have never heard of such a problem with a overheating sound card before. I have 5 fans, 2 120mm fans, 1 80 mm fan. and 2 other fans for vga and cpu. and it has an OK airflow by it.
